Three years ago today, 14 months after releasing Walkabout Mini Golf, we released our first add-on course (DLC) Gardens of Babylon—which became the first in our Lost Cities series. At that point, we knew people enjoyed the game and were asking for more, but didn’t know how the pricing or awareness of the new course was going to play, nor where that would take us. Thanks to our incredible player community, it went well enough that we kept going and we were… as they say… off to the races. DLCs have become the core of our business model that, combined with the base game, pay for our costs as an independent studio. As we’re approaching our 22nd DLC, we can hardly believe it.
