Last week was a founder's delight! 🎺🎯Huge Announcement: On Friday we closed 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 at Keylika with a major biopharma co. in the hematology space! This deal allows us to advance our novel buccal iron delivery in higher preclinical models, reiterates the solid interest from the industry and validates the huge potential impact of 𝗡𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗙𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮 for millions of women! 🪷Met two icons IRL Bryan Johnson🐋 & Lance Armstrong🚴♂️ at the Y Combinator batch reunion (thanks to Kyriakos & Terra API!) on Saturday! 💡For both, 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀🏃as well as 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆🪸, the mineral iron is a crucial micronutrient (along with many others of course) whose demand goes up with physically rigorous activity. Now imagine if, instead of having to take so many pills/supplements/concoctions daily, you could stick a patch in your mouth that dissolves rapidly without causing any GI distress! Our 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 can potentially enable just that, not only for iron but many others. @Bryan was clearly excited by the idea! 🙏Thanks to Y Combinator for putting up such a great event which btw keeps getting better every year!
