This month, we shine a light on Marc Gallo and his remarkable 25-year journey with Trinchero Family Estates. From his early days to his current role as VP of Portfolio Strategy & Customer Marketing, Marc has been integral to TFE’s growth and success.
Marc began his TFE journey as an Associate Brand Manager in the foods division. He soon transitioned to the wine side, collaborating with the Marketing Director on Soleo, Portico and Sutter Home brands. Reflecting on his path, Marc shares: "I’m proudest of the portfolio of brands we’ve created, curated and partnered on. When I started, we had six brands and I’m thrilled to see how far we’ve come."
Some of Marc’s most cherished memories involve fast-paced projects, like developing the Wine Cube brand for Target—an idea that went from a sketch on a cocktail napkin to reality in just six months—or working with Walmart and the Robertson family to launch Duck Commander wines on a four-month timeline. "When there’s synergy between your customers, sales, creative, and winemaking teams—when it all clicks—it’s a lot of fun."
Coming from the advertising world, Marc immediately noticed TFE’s unique culture. "I knew there was something different about working here. You’re part of an extended family, and that support enables you to learn and grow. There’s a deeper connection and commitment when working for a family company versus a corporation. Looking ahead, I see tremendous opportunities to continue innovating in the wine space. My goals now center on what our company can achieve and who our people can become. I want TFE to be at the forefront of what’s next."
When not driving innovation at TFE, Marc enjoys traveling, playing golf and spending time with his family.
Congratulations, Marc, on 25 years of dedication and leadership! We can’t wait to see what the future holds.
