I discussed the 'ROOFTOP ONLINE SOLAR POWER PLANT (MICRO GRID)' implemented at Einstein College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, on 10-12-2024 with some colleagues in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department. The topics covered included Photovoltaic (PV) panels, online inverters, protection, and an overview of the college project, presented through a PowerPoint presentation and a field inspection.

The Department of Electrical Engineering at NIT Rourkela is organising a 5-day workshop titled 'CAPTURE—Convention on Advanced Photovoltaic Technology for Future’. The workshop will create roadmaps and a shared vision for the future by presenting and discussing novel ideas, innovation trends, and experiences. Date: 16th December 2024 to 20th December 2024. The Faculty of Engineering organized an industrial visit for BSc Electrical Engineering students to Skypower Pvt Ltd., supervised by Dr. Ali Ahmad, PhD. The students were warmly welcomed by Engr. Ijaz Rabbani and the Creative Group team. They learned about manufacturing processes like CTs, LT/HT panels, coil windings, and transformer cores. The visit highlighted Creative Group's focus on energy independence through solar and biogas systems, as well as its efforts in developing energy meters and self-reliant equipment. The visit concluded with an informative Q&A session with industry experts.
