🚀 Recently, I delved into crafting a script to design a pavilion using recycled plywood planks and developing a BIM model for it. #Grasshopper and #RhinoInside were key in this process. The workflow involved geometry optimization, rationalization, panel joint creation, and panel grouping based on size. The entire script took 4 hours to write, yet offers an extremely adaptive solution to transform any surface into an optimized, constructible BIM model. With BIM and computational design on the rise, similar #workflows have the potential to streamline our creation process.
