A 7-Year-Old’s Wisdom | The Power of Connection It's amazing how social media can sometimes feel eerily aware of our thoughts. This morning, I was pondering relationships when this 7-year-old girl, Ms Molly Wright, popped up in my feed. Intrigued, I clicked play and was captivated by her powerful speech. She emphasized the crucial importance of being present with children, highlighting its profound impact on their development and future lives. This principle extends beyond parent-child relationships. In fact, it applies to all our connections. Being present isn’t enough; we must also make the time and effort to truly engage with others. Connection, conversation, and shared experiences foster trust. Without these deliberate actions, relationships weaken. Let's make a commitment to strengthen our relationships. #Schedule quality time: Dedicate specific time for meaningful interactions. #Active listening: Give full attention to the people you care about. #Open communication: Share your thoughts and feelings honestly. #Acts of kindness: Small gestures can go a long way. #Share experiences: Reminisce about shared moments and create new memories together. By taking these steps, we can foster deeper connections and enrich our lives. #Remember the desire to share won’t disappear, but it will shift its focus due to time constraints and it will be noticed as it’s a change for the other side! #PickABoo #EffortToConnect #SharingExperience #DesireToShare #Value #Time #Career

What I love doing most is talking to people and helping in the best way I can. When we give advice,we are evaluative and judgemental. We make decisions about what someone else should or should not think, feel and do based on our own understanding, beliefs and view of the world. We also learn from other people's problem. What inspires you? what do you love doing most ? Share with me in the comment session 👇let's celebrate what inspires and bring us joy 😊 #JCINIGERIA #JCINCOLLEGIATE #LINKEDINGROWTHCHALLENGE #BRANDDEVELOPMENT #SEE #PARADIGMSHIFT #DAY5

I have been at daggers drawn with both my kids (boy 16 and girl 25) who happen to be the subject of this Ted Talk! Perhaps that's why Adriana Galván 's talk sharing 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 hit me differently. Instead of getting frustrated about their rebellion, maybe I can look at it in a more appreciative light. Teens and adolescents can actually inspire us all if we think of these 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒌𝒆𝒚 𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔 she highlights: ✔️ 𝑬𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒚 Teens navigate a world full of unknowns, teaching us to be adaptable and open-minded. ✔️ 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒔 𝑸𝒖𝒐 Their willingness to question norms encourages innovation and change in various ways. ✔️ 𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒌𝒔 Teens often step out of their comfort zones, reminding us that growth comes from trying new things. 🍃 Each time we fall, we gain a chance to learn, grow stronger, and rise with more resilience. It’s through those setbacks that we build the strength to keep moving forward. When I set about creating The Cats Pyjamas, I had a rough idea of what I wanted to achieve. And part of that was encouraging young girls to be courageous in pursuing their dreams and using their voices. It not only strengthens them but also creates a ripple effect of support and empowerment for others. When they lift each other up, it has the potential to create a world where success is shared and challenges are faced with unity and strength. It’s a powerful vision for the future! But one I believe we can achieve together. You may say it’s a profound vision for a legacy—one rooted in collaboration, mutual respect, and balance. Just like nature, and the trees in a forest, a symbiotic approach means fostering environments where everyone thrives by supporting one another, working in harmony, and recognizing our interconnectedness. It’s a legacy that emphasizes the importance of collective growth, where individual successes contribute to the greater good. I have had time this week to think about my goals, my purpose, and remind myself of why I started this. I go back to the name - The Cats Pyjamas, as it means, you are good enough ❤️ We share stories to learn, to grow, and to connect 🫶 I hope you like the little film of Eira, my granddaughter-may she always get back up after a fall, and use her voice well, so all the other little girls that need support find their voices too 🩷 #storytellers #selfcare #kindness #motivation #mindset #buildalifeyoulove #connections #storytelling #growth #thecatspyjamas

Harnessing the Power of Intent: Reflection, Alignment, and Celebration in Giving Intent is critical... 1. Understand Your 'Why': Begin by reflecting on your true motivations. When your intent is clear and heartfelt, your giving becomes a powerful force. 2. Align with Your Values: Ensure your actions resonate with your core beliefs. This alignment creates a ripple effect, amplifying the impact of your generosity. 3. Celebrate Small Wins: Recognize and appreciate the little moments of joy and connection.
