✨️Proud of my former PhD student, now postdoctoral researcher, Yuan Fang! She organised a 2-day workshop at the Medical Campus of @OsloUniversity entitled: "Grand challenges in and reponses to the #ageing in #China and #Nordic countries" 🔈I had the pleasure of being invited to talk about the work that our research group at Erasmus MC does in studying the relation between the #environment and #health, and how these insights can be #translated in better #prevention and #care. ▶️ As an example I shared the interdisciplinary European 🇪🇺 KHEALTHinAIR EU Project. In which experts in #public #health, AI, Machine Learning, filtration technology and much more work together to increase the knowledge on indoor air quality determinants and sources, and their impact on health 💫 ➡️ In #Rotterdam we perform a pilot study among the older population living with #respiratory conditions. 💡We are now developing potential #interventions to improve IAQ in homes of our participants 🏠.
