Cosmic Aerospace raises $ 4.5 million in seed round to further develop a 1000kms range electric aircraft. One of the biggest challenges for developing electric aircraft is the battery capacity. Research suggests that a minimum of 800 Wh/Kg battery capacity would be required to develop such an aircraft. In this context, the current best battery by Amprius Technologies, Inc. tested at cell level is 500 Wh/Kg, there is still a long way to go !
