Today marks the beginning of #Movember. The month raises awareness of the 3 key areas of mens' health that need more support: Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, Prostate Cancer and Testicular Cancer. Movember exist to help men live happier, healthier, longer lives, and this month gives you an opportunity to support their cause. You don't have to grow a mo to save a bro. You can donate at https://lnkd.in/esJYR4zA, host a fundraising event, or run or walk 60km in November to signify the 60 men lost to suicide across the world each day. We have some exciting things coming up this month in support of Movember, alongside our friends at Mo Rugby FC. Stay tuned 👀 #MensHealth #MentalHealthAwareness

#Movember day 12! While this year has had some curveballs on the Movember campaign #cancer research and #mentalhealth are still critically important for the men in all of our lives. Too often men avoid regular preventative appointments such as annual visits with their physician. Additionally, 77% of men have experienced symptoms of a mental health condition, such as depression, anxiety, or stress. However, men are less likely to seek treatment than women. In 2022, only 40% of men with a reported mental illness received mental health care services, compared to 52% of women. - Priory Group UK So let’s make up the slow start to the 2024 Movember campaign with the help of Pringles! Starting at 12 pm EST and 9 am PST Nov 13, Pringles will add $25 to my Momember campaign for every donation of $25 or more. Please take a moment, talk to your loved ones, encourage them to speak to a doctor, ask them how they are doing, and spread awareness. #menshealth #mentalhealth #suicideprevention #cancer #charity #testicularcancer #prostatecancer #Movember2024 https://lnkd.in/ehPimCMW

This November, PEP Transport is supporting Movember in raising awareness for men’s health. Whether it’s mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, or testicular cancer, speaking up can make a real difference. To those inspired to get involved, grow a moustache, and raise donations through Movember - let’s speak up and spread awareness. Follow A.L.E.C. when talking with your peers: - ASK how they are doing. A simple “How’s it going?” can open the door. - LISTEN carefully, offering your full attention. Sometimes, just listening is what matters most. - ENCOURAGE ACTION by suggesting steps toward support, whether it’s talking to others or seeking resources. - CHECK IN afterward. A quick follow-up shows you care and are there for them. 📞: (08) 6254 0700 🌐: peptransport.com.au #WeArePEP #Movember #PEPTransport #RaiseAwareness #MensHealth #MentalHealthMatters #SpeakUp

**Week 4 of Movember: A Stronger Future Starts with Awareness** As we enter the final stretch of Movember, it's a good time to reflect on how far we've come and how much we've learned. This month, we've all united to raise awareness and funds for men's health, shining a light on important causes like mental health, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. By talking about these issues, sharing stories, and encouraging one another, we’re creating a safer space for men to open up about their health. It’s not just about growing a mustache – it’s about making a lasting impact on the lives of men everywhere. Please support a Mo by jumping on a friend or colleagues page to donate or if you would like to support my continued attempts at a Mo please donate here: https://lnkd.in/gcDktaQw Thank you to everyone who has supported this movement, whether by donating, growing a Mo, or simply having a conversation. Let's finish strong, continue the conversation, and keep pushing for progress. #Movember #MensHealth #MentalHealthAwareness #ProstateCancer #TesticularCancer #EndTheStigma #KeepTheConversationGoing
