Less than 5 % of practices use a CRM(what it’s called in non-healthcare businesses). Why does that matter and what is a CRM? These are customer relationship management systems, but for us they are patient relationship management systems. It connects the marketing to sales with operations for other businesses. For ours, it connects the front desk, back office and management with the patient journey. For patients to have source of truth of communication to overcome the fears of change. It’s not too late(it’s actually super early) to put these systems into place and leverage technology to create an experience. An experience to be remembered. An experience to set our patients free to a confident life.

In the realm of business operations, a common dilemma arises between relying heavily on technology versus maintaining a human touch in processes. Choosing to fully embrace technology offers significant benefits. Automation streamlines workflows, leading to increased efficiency and substantial cost savings. It minimizes manual errors, allowing employees to focus on strategic tasks rather than mundane details. This can accelerate growth and improve overall productivity. However, the downside is that too much reliance on technology might result in a lack of personal connection with clients and customers. Automated responses can sometimes feel impersonal, leading to potential dissatisfaction if not managed carefully. On the flip side, keeping human involvement at the forefront fosters stronger relationships. Personal interactions can enhance customer satisfaction and brand loyalty, ensuring that clients feel valued and heard. This can re-engage a market that sometimes feels overwhelmed by automated services. Yet, the risks include slower processes and a greater chance for human error, particularly in tasks that could benefit from automation. Finding a sweet spot by blending the strengths of both sides can be highly effective. For instance, implementing technology for repetitive tasks while reserving human interaction for relationship-building can create a balanced approach. This means using tools for efficiency but ensuring that customers still receive authentic engagement when needed. To implement this combined approach, start by identifying which tasks are suitable for automation and which require a personal touch. Use CRM systems to track customer interactions, automate routine inquiries, and maintain a consistent yet humanized communication strategy. In business, balance is essential. Embracing both technology and human engagement leads to not only improved efficiency but also reliable customer relationships. The key is knowing when to switch gears to maximize the benefits of both worlds. #BusinessBalance #TechVsHuman #Efficiency #CustomerSatisfaction

Digital Transformation "Digital transformation." It's a buzzword we hear a lot these days, but what does it really mean for businesses, especially MSMEs? Is it just about having a website and a social media presence, or is there more to it? I'll never forget working with a traditional family-owned business that had been operating the same way for decades. The idea of 'going digital' seemed daunting, even unnecessary to them. "We've always done it this way," they said. Sound familiar? But here's the truth: in today's rapidly evolving business landscape, adapting isn't just an option – it's a necessity. I demonstrated a simple customer relationship management (CRM) system to show them the results to open their eye. It has been eye-opening for them & they could understand the importance; I remember that though they immediately didn’t implement but implemented later and have witnessed the transformation themselves. The transformation wasn't just about efficiency; it opens up entirely new markets; they could reach customers far beyond their local area. But let me be clear: digital transformation isn't just about implementing new technologies. It's about changing mindsets, processes, and even company culture. It's about being willing to reimagine how you do business in the digital age. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing the 'aha' moment when business owners realize the potential of digital tools. It's not about replacing the human touch – it's about enhancing it, allowing you to serve your customers better and operate more efficiently. So, I'm curious: Where are you in your digital transformation journey? What's been your biggest challenge or success? Share your experiences in the comments – let's learn from each other!

A chatbot without context is like a detective trying to solve a case without any clues. So what does context mean in sales and marketing? Context is existing information you have about a lead within your CRM (industry, location, etc) Context is information an inbound lead has shared through a company's website form (e.g. in real estate, how many bedrooms and baths are they looking for?) Context is an event that has occurred 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 a business has already started talking to a lead (they've viewed a particular page on your website, they've attended a meeting with a team rep, etc) All of 3 types of context above are critical to providing a 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. Most chatbots operate without this context, and it's why they don't fully work. Apten (YC S24) provides an easy way to pass this context, both at the initial import of a lead and any time during the conversation.
