There is still a lot of technological advancements to be made within the ICE world. Some with basic mechanical, but incredibly powerful adaptations that can further improve thermodynamic efficiencies, lower emissions, improve fuel efficiencies and by extension carbon neutrality goals. One such amazing technology is the "six stroke" Porsche engine patent. The ability to vary compression, among all the other aspects of this unique design, but also imagine all the electronic controls that can be added to adjust its efficiency at varying loads and it working super well with turbo boosting, with a variety of e-fuels, makes this for me ultra-exceptional. I can also see a 3 piston version making a debut in hybrid vehicles to further boost fuel economy without compromising on other aspects. So if you have a Proton X50 you get subsidy, is X70 you don't get subsidies, you have a new BMW 5 series you don't get subsidies, but what about a used BMW 5 series that cost less the Protin X50? What are your thoughts on subsidies on car type? Is.a better way, to tie subsidies based on income level? possibly scan IC at the pump to get subsidies? Today, modeling is so accurate. A well exercised model will estimate with near perfect accuracy natural frequencies of systems. You can estimate and FIX things before you proto-type them. Ouch: ODS's. Things that are much harder to "estimate". 80% of the time ODS's are the project killers eating away TIME, MONEY, and SPECIFICATIONS. You might think through this software tool. Better yet, invest in our "Motion Amplification" technologies at RDI Technologies. We do "live" rendering of ODS's BTW. Take a closer look and you will see what’s the NVH problem caused by the resonances. 🔊📉 One of the tasks of root cause analysis for NVH issues is to analyze the deformation shape of the resonance. Cross-influences of resonances and mode-shapes can only be done properly in a time-domain solution. EXCITE M performs this analysis in time-domain, allowing an engineer to see the interaction of different mode shapes.
