As a recent former Executive Director for two nonprofits, evidence supports the article below. Nonprofit leadership is about passion and enthusiasm for "the cause." It is being mission-driven. I believe we are in a period of nonprofit realignment when nonprofits will take on more of a visible professional role in their communities.
