💡 In case you missed it: Time to end the dominance of short-term grants. Following on in our theme of an Open & Trusting approach to grant-making, we want to reshare a paper released earlier this year about the case for multi-year funding. Our evidence review demonstrates that short-term grants have not earned their place as the dominant model and may support funders to have conversations with their boards about longer-term funding. In this paper, we look at: • What the research says about the benefits such funding delivers • The progress being made on increasing the availability of multi-year funding • Reflections on how best to overcome some of the barriers to this.
