South Korean shipbuilding giant HD Hyundai and American multinational conglomerate 3M have signed an agreement to work on a joint #research project focused on developing a high-performance vacuum insulation system for liquid #hydrogen storage and transportation. The companies hope to capture the initial volume of orders for high-value-added ships based on ultra-gap technologies in the approaching hydrogen society and further strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic shipbuilding industry. #liquidhydrogen #hydrogenstorage #hydrogentransport

Great progress on consultations on the environmental impact. Be interesting to monitor the extraction at the site, the volume per hectare and the impact of ecological conditions immediately after the extraction as a key measure to address the environmental impact integrating existing UN legally binding Environmental Impact Rule of Law & multi-thematic Environmental and Ocean Conventions citing reference to the application of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea & legally binding South Pacific region Conventions with regional consensus to confirm to these standards. French Scientists working with leading French specialist agencies scientific strategy in the restoration and recovery of Muroroa, with scientific precision, effective multi-thematic strategies and methodologies effectively restored & enhanced the marine environments and ecological systems and species at the site & at speed & scale to its enhanced capacity.

What are the particular challenges in the transformation of drive systems for construction machinery? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the various alternatives? What needs to be considered when designing a hybrid drive system based on hydrogen fuel cells? We look forward to the discussion on our conference contribution.

Liebherr launches hydrogen ICE-powered loader in Austrian demo. By Charlie Currie Liebherr has unveiled a hydrogen internal combustion engine (ICE)-powered large wheel loader in a live demonstration in Salzburg, Austria. Taking place at the firm’s plant in Bischofshofen, the prototype machine – L 566 H – is powered by a reciprocating piston engine manufactured at Liebherr’s engine plant in Bulle, Switzerland. The heavy-duty machine manufacturer said although battery-electric solutions could be suitable for vehicles up to 15-tonnes, hydrogen ICEs “prove to be ideal” for larger machines with operating weights of up to 40 tonnes. https://lnkd.in/d7D5WBeg
