Is it Fear, or Is It Conditioning? In this week’s episode of The Empowered & Embodied Show, Kim opens up about those moments when fear creeps in and we begin to feel incompetent—not just lacking in confidence, but questioning our own worth. Kim reminds us to ask an important question: Is this fear truly about me, or is it a result of societal conditioning? So often, the systems around us make us feel like we have to “keep up” or “take the leap” just because everyone else is doing it. But how often do we stop to ask, “Is this truly right for me?” If you’re feeling pressure to “measure up,” take a breath, reflect, and ask yourself if you’re following someone else’s path or your own. Episode 19 - This is real life Hey friends! On today's episode, I open up about a recent struggle and how it reminded me of the power of taking 100% responsibility. Life throws curveballs, and it's easy to get triggered, but understanding perspectives and choosing gratitude can be transformative. Have you ever felt a situation weighing on you? Take a moment to reflect, detach, and consider small steps toward resolution. Remember, you can only control your actions and reactions. Here's an affirmation I came across: "I am enough. I am always enough. And I have always been enough." Let's spread positivity! Thanks for tuning in! Feel free to share, subscribe, and let's create a ripple of awareness together. #EmbracingAwareness #MindsetShift #gratitudejourney Watch on my YouTube channel : https://lnkd.in/gP87UgeS Tune in now on Buzz sprout: https://lnkd.in/gVmm_Z7u

This week, we’re continuing our journey on Shifting Your Life. Last week, we focused on The Mind, and now, we’re turning our attention to The Emotions—that is, Energy in Motion (Emotion). Emotions are the expressions of what’s happening in our minds, and these expressions can be both internal and external. Emotions are also complex and often automatic. But why do emotions matter so much? Because they direct your energy, which influences how you interact with everything around you—people, places, events, and situations. Now, here’s the key: those who successfully Shift Their Lives don’t just surrender to their emotions—they build the capacity to control and channel them to their advantage. Curious about how to do that? That’s exactly what we’ll dive into next time. See you in the next episode! #Microlearning #Shift #Personalgrowth #Changeyourlife #SelfImprovement

In this eye-opening episode of Magnificence, I sit down with Elvira (Elle) Ballard, a rare Reflector in Human Design, to tackle the often misunderstood world of perfectionism and its impact on our lives. For those of you who are especially interested in the Human Design part of my show, Reflectors make up less than 1% of the population and have a unique ability to mirror aspects of those around them, providing deep insights into group dynamics and energy. Elle shares her personal journey from crippling self-doubt to embracing imperfection, offering listeners a raw and honest look at the hidden costs of striving for flawlessness. I dig deep, asking the tough questions that force us to confront our own perfectionist tendencies. I challenge Elle to explain how perfectionism can actually hinder success rather than fuel it. Together, we explore: 🔸 The surprising link between perfectionism and procrastination 🔸How fear of failure keeps us stuck in our comfort zones 🔸Practical strategies for overcoming self-doubt and taking action 🔸The power of embracing mistakes as learning opportunities 🔸Why "good enough" is often better than perfect Elle shares a powerful anecdote about a time when her pursuit of perfection nearly cost her a major career opportunity, and how this wake-up call changed her approach to work and life. I add my own insights, discussing how I've seen perfectionism hold back even the most talented individuals in my years of coaching and mentoring. The conversation takes an unexpected turn when we discuss the role of social media in fueling perfectionist tendencies, with both of us offering thoughts on how to navigate the pressure of constant comparison. By the end of this episode, you'll have a new perspective on perfectionism and practical tools to break free from its grip. Whether you're a chronic overthinker or simply looking to boost your productivity, this conversation is a game-changer. Don't miss out on this transformative discussion that might just be the push you need to finally take that leap you've been putting off. In our goal-driven lives, it's common to cling tightly to what we know, driven by routines and the roles we've learned to play. It’s expedient. It works. And it often feels required. But this short-cutting creates automatic patterns of behavior, limiting you from fully expressing who you really are… both in business and your personal life. It’s your “societal mask.” If, however, you want a more integrated life, where your outsides match your insides, it’s critical to become aware of these routine actions and roles you’re playing. This isn't about discarding what you’ve learned on your path, but rather it’s about choosing to act from a place of inherent truth. Where do you feel stuck wearing a societal mask?? Share below. Don’t miss this episode if you’re feeling the call to transform how you’re showing up in the world. On our #PositivityHackDelivered episode 164, the amazing Cher Anderton, MSW, LICSW shared her favorite quote that offers a powerful life lesson: "One of the most profound life lessons I’ve embraced is this: comfort may feel safe, but discomfort holds the key to possibility. We often stay in our comfort zones because they feel familiar and soothing to our nervous systems. However, by doing so, we might miss out on the boundless opportunities life has to offer. True growth and transformation usually lie on the other side of discomfort. By leaning into those moments of unease, we unlock a life that is bigger, richer, and far more extraordinary. If I could put that on a billboard, I absolutely would."
