The predictive approach involves real-time data analysis to preempt potential issues, while preventive maintenance schedules regular inspections and servicing to avoid equipment failure. Together, these strategies ensure higher reliability and efficiency. Facilities are encouraged to budget effectively for these technologies and prepare for a gradual transition that supports continuous production demands. The integration of #AI and digital tools is redefining maintenance protocols. Technologies like #DigitalTwins, predictive #analytics, and AI-driven platforms such as predictive maintenance-as-a-service (#PMaaS) are becoming commonplace. These technologies predict upcoming issues and, most notably, recommend preventive measures, minimizing downtime and extending the lifespan of machinery.
