The 3 big focus areas in Web3 right now A few weeks ago the world of web3 descended onto Singapore 🇸🇬 and took over the island. During TOKEN2049 we saw over 20k attendees, 800+ side events and we even witnessed some of the industry’s heavy hitters take the stage! I had the pleasure of speaking and moderating across a range of different events and I noticed that there are 3 big narratives being spoken on the streets in the web3 world! 1- mass adoption - who’s going to crack the code - web3 will eventually be for everyone! 2- ui/ux design - user journey has to be made easy and simple. 3- transparency and security- these two will play a massive role in building solid trust with the market place as the industry grows and expands. GameFi Unleashed: How an Evening in Kuala Lumpur Sparked the Next Wave of Crypto Innovation. Roundtable Discussion: Exploring the Future and Challenges of GameFi. At 9:20 p.m., the roundtable discussion commenced, with guests exploring the theme, “Make Crypto Great Again: How GameFi Could Fuel the Next Bull Market”. Atlas invited Amir from GameSpace, Rosina from Tevau, Ruby from BEVM, along with two Malaysian community leaders, Ariff from Kripto101 and Abi Syazwan from MySekolahkripto, as panelists to discuss the primary challenges and opportunities for GameFi’s future growth. The discussion centered around how collaboration in payments, infrastructure, and community could be instrumental in onboarding non-crypto users into GameFi, as well as how partnerships across DeFi, NFT, and other blockchain sectors could propel GameFi as the leader of the next bull market. The project showcase segment was particularly inspiring. With teams from various GameFi projects presenting their visions and strategies, it became clear how much potential the industry held.
