No fancy cameras and awkward shooting angles. All thanks to OpenAI's hot new release called Sora 😎 Emerging #technologies like this can bring about seismic change in ways creativity is currently brought to life. The cost of production can be significantly reduced, because all you need is to know how to prompt the tool accurately and skilfully using everyday language. With these tools and capabilities coming on the horizon for all, how can you not question what the future and genuine value-add of a creative production industry is 🤔 The other side of the same token is rising concerns around deep fake and the originality of any videos, images, audios, and texts you see online going forward. What will it take for you to trust what you see, hear, and read on the internet? How will you tell facts from fiction? How will you distinguish truth from propaganda? #Blockchain and its publicly verifiable nature could be the answer to this, but we don't know for sure. 🤷♂️ 🤷♀️ For the past 18 months, I've dedicated at least two hours every single day trying to stay on top of these emerging technologies -- AI, blockchain, #crypto, #Web3, AR, spatial computing, you name it. And I can guarantee you that it's impossible to stay on top of it all. They simply move too quickly 🤯 We're facing a nexus point where streams of technology converge and will undoubtedly bring about a rate of change that 99% of us wouldn't have seen before. In my opinion, if a business is not actively finding ways to stay close to the development of these technologies, it's unquestionable that it'll be disrupted either by known competitors or new entrants who leverage these tools to efficiently capture market attention and launch products/services in a cheaper, faster and easier way 😨 It's going to be messy.
