[NEW RELEASE] DKG Paranets launch on OriginTrail mainnet DKG Para-networks or paranets are autonomous on chain AI systems. They are a groundbreaking innovation in Decentralized AI. 🔷 Today we release DKG V6.4.0, introducing paranets on Neuroweb - on-chain autonomous AI systems for collective building of knowledge graphs with knowledge mining incentives. A DKG paranet is made of: - a paranet knowledge graph, assembled from paranet Knowledge Assets, published by knowledge miners. Depending on the paranet specifics, these Knowledge Assets conform to a set of paranet rules such as containing knowledge about a particular topic, data structured according to defined ontology, etc. - paranet services (on chain or off chain) such as #DRAG interfaces, AI agents, data oracles, etc. - an incentive model specifying the rules under which growth activities in the paranet are rewarded, such as knowledge mining and paranet-specific AI services. - a "home" blockchain on which the paranet is deployed More info: https://lnkd.in/dzJMbdBX 🔷 Paranets come with a powerful launching mechanism - Initial Paranet Offerings (IPOs), by which the NeuroWeb community can support your paranet with $NEURO incentives. Read more on how you can launch your IPO and get token incentives here 👇 https://lnkd.in/ejKJNEHC 🔷 More information on Paranets, including how to deploy and use them can be found in the updated docs 👇 https://lnkd.in/d7CTbEcg 🔷 Apart from paranets, V6.4.0 introduces the ability to withdraw unutilized stake from DKG nodes without the withdrawal delay (stake above 2M TRAC) and additional smaller improvements. Check out the release notes here 👇 https://lnkd.in/dqcWBdWB 🔷 DKG node runners are invited to update their nodes to V6.4.0 and get paranets support! As always, if you have autoupdate on, your node will update itself, no action needed. Have questions on Paranets? Join us in Discord and Telegram and let's chat. 🚀 Breaking New Ground in AI! 🚀 NEAR Protocol just announced an audacious goal: to build the world’s largest open-source AI model — a 1.4 trillion parameter powerhouse. That’s 3.5x the size of Meta’s Llama model! Imagine the impact: 1. Crowdsourced Innovation 🌐: Thousands of contributors collaborating on NEAR AI’s research hub, starting with a 500 million parameter model. 2. Privacy-First 🔒: Using encrypted environments to protect contributors' privacy and enable continuous updates. 3. Decentralized Model 🧩: Progressing through seven stages to achieve unmatched complexity. How is this possible? NEAR co-founder Illia Polosukhin estimates a $160 million cost, funded by token sales. With AI growing in importance, NEAR is determined to keep it decentralized for the benefit of all. 💬 “AI controlled by one entity is a threat to freedom,” Polosukhin emphasized. AI that aligns with Web3 principles is NEAR’s way forward. With visionary leaders like Polosukhin and Alex Skidanov — pioneers from the early transformer research behind ChatGPT — NEAR is well-positioned to tackle this massive challenge. Are we witnessing the dawn of open-source AI dominance? 🌅 Read more Cointelegraph [https://lnkd.in/dPFR6dRE] #AI #OpenSourceAI #Decentralization #NearProtocol #Web3 #ArtificialIntelligence #Innovation #PrivacyFirst #FutureOfAI #Blockchain

A team with an anonymous CEO (z1labs) announced a blockchain project seemingly using the name Cypher and copying the title and application ideas, this project is not mine, it is an entirely different project that likely contains some ideas from a prior presentation I shared on LinkedIn, do not expect a grand result out of this. Before that, I shared a pitch for Cypher with a few crypto VCs so it may have been discussed outside and it seemed as if it was loosely based on that material, I felt a bit stressed naturally. The material they shared looks like boilerplate text generated with AI, I don't think they have much technological capability or innovation. The CTO is a marketer, and they have two blockchain developers. It doesn't look like they have any AI skills, but one developer has some experience in ZK. I was forced to announce that they do not have any access or rights to our groundbreaking Cypher design. The original Cypher is a blockchain project but it is not focused on FHE and privacy, or even AI. FHE services on blockchain already exist on Ethereum, our goal was distinct, although we did aim to address stronger privacy in the future in the presentations. There was an older design out of MIT that attempted to use homomorphic encryption, this is a non-trivial problem. I should also remind that we used the name Cypher in reference to the old cypherpunks mailing list and USENET groups, and it should be regarded as a generic name, like "cyber". My Cypher presentation was published on LinkedIn well before they announced their project. Someone from their team, possibly their Turkish marketer, must have seen it. https://lnkd.in/dqzAFzrb Their design docs read like something an Msc student wrote up using gen AI. It doesn't seem they have a good understanding of cryptography and AI. If that requires an explanation, we don't use FHE for AI because it's absurdly costly. We do think that the disadvantages of ZK and HE technology will be overcome in the future, however, presently it is infeasible for applications at scale. I've listened to and talked to many ZK developers on precisely that subject. That is why, the original Cypher is not based on ZK technology. Their design drafts seem ad hoc, incompetent, and irrelevant. It is not likely to work at all. It is rather a hodgepodge of loosely related ideas that are unlikely to combine in a design and have little relevance to blockchain. https://z1labs.ai/cypher/
