Addressing Today's Challenges with Hope and Action. In a time where headlines talk of presidential impeachment threats, a stalled economy, and a broken immigration system, our reality is undeniably complex. Yet, despite these challenges, our economy has seen growth, unemployment is at its lowest in years, and there's a broad consensus for practical immigration reforms. We must transcend political deadlock and work towards comprehensive legislative reforms. Inspired by the spirit of 1964, our 2024 Freedom Summer campaign will amplify voter registration and turnout in communities of color and areas historically affected by voter suppression. Together, we can forge real change. #VotingRights #EconomicJustice #ImmigrationReform #BeThe1st #RealRealty

Voting in elections is a privilege and is reserved for citizens of their respective city, county, state, and country. As a business owner getting neck deep in politics can be risky as we have seen in the news how some people are impacted by the government and government agencies. Taking time to research information about political candidates is time consuming and can be tricky. Remember always, you are not voting for the candidate, you are voting for the policies which are often muddied through noise and distractions. If you believe your business cannot be impacted either negatively or in a positive manner, you are hindering yourself. One point in particular is the open border. Every other country in the world recognizes that sovereignty is paramount in national security. All citizens, businesses, and countries are impacted by respective immigration laws. Being informed is a matter of choice and many choose not to be informed. No harm no foul unless you become the subject of investigation for hiring practices and monetary transactions. There are a number of rumors floating around the internet about voting in the upcoming 2024 elections. Which ones are true and which ones are distractions? If you support open-borders, you are treading in dangerous waters. If you want secure borders, you are treading in dangerous waters. Either way, your business is impacted by immigration and immigration laws. Take time to inform and educate yourself. It has been rumored non-citizens are being allowed to vote in local elections across the country. This isn't a democrat or republican issue, this is an American issue. There are those who will not vote, those who only vote for a specific party only, and those who research information before making a decision. Do not be overly indulged in politics, but don't be ignorant of politics either. #votingrights #freeelections #smallbusiness #KinSpiredGoalSetters #veteranshelpingveterans #leadershipdevelopment #veterans DFW Veterans Chamber of Commerce OffBeat Business Media Renea Skelton, PhD Kelly Cobb John Paul Keesy

Time to reshare this blog on ConservativeHome. "...It’s time for Conservatives to adopt a new campaign for the forthcoming election. We must quieten down on the immigration rhetoric and ramp up the noise around our economic recovery and lower council taxes. It is time for Conservatives to talk about defeating poverty, ensuring no kid goes hungry, providing people secure homes and creating jobs. We must talk about slashing the cost of local government, ensuring that people get to keep more of their wages instead of it being taken to bulk up the pay of town hall executives." https://lnkd.in/e9Vr-MJS #TeamGB #Flag #UK #Immigration #Patriotism #Poverty #Housing #Conservatives #Election

I learned some more about the illigal immigration situation. I thought it was just to increase the number of congressional representatives and federal monies distribution, but it also affects the ELECTORAL COLLEGE, which is how the President is elected. The number of Electoral Delegates per state is equal to the number of Congressional Representatives in a given state (per USA.Gov - Who is in the Electoral College? Each state gets as many electors as it has members of Congress (House and Senate). Including Washington, D.C.’s three electors, there are currently 538 electors in all. Each state’s political parties choose their own slate of potential electors. Who is chosen to be an elector, how, and when varies by state.) which is based on THE POPULATION, LEGAL OR ILLEGAL , in that state. MILLIONS OF ILLEGAL PEOPLE IN A STATE WILL DEFINITELY AFFECT THE OUTCOME OF FUTURE ELECTIONS! Now it finally makes some sense!
