Congratulations, Farzad!
After 21 years in tech, I took some much needed time off to hit the reset button. The burnout was real, as many of us can relate to, but I’d been putting off that mental break for too long. The time away gave me the space to reflect and spend quality time with my family — something I’ll never take for granted.
During my time off, I created a checklist for the next chapter of my career. One thing became very clear to me: AI is not just a buzzword, it's a game-changer that’s already transforming our lives. Eventually, it won’t be the flashy topic it is today; it will simply be embedded in everything we do. What will matter is which AI companies can evolve beyond the noise and prove themselves as a force for good — ones that integrate AI into our daily lives without losing sight of the human side of things.
I also knew I wanted to contribute to an industry that truly needs technology’s help. And for me, that was healthcare. Having seen the challenges firsthand, and hearing the experiences of those around me, I realized just how complex and outdated the system is. A significant factor in this is the shortage of healthcare providers — something we’re all feeling, especially when it comes to access. My own primary care physician is booked out three months in advance, and it's clear that burnout is driving many clinicians to retire or leave the field. A major contributor to this burnout? Documentation. Clinicians are spending 1-2 hours per patient just on paperwork, taking time away from what they do best, caring for patients.
That’s where Suki comes in. Suki’s AI-driven platform is reshaping the daily life of clinicians by giving them a clinicians assistant that reduces the time spent on documentation and administrative tasks. This isn’t just about technology; it’s about giving clinicians back the time they need to focus on what matters most, patient care. I immediately connected with Suki’s mission to make healthcare technology invisible and assistive, allowing doctors and nurses to do what they love.
From the moment I met the team at Suki — led by the brilliant Punit Singh Soni — I felt like I had found my home. The leadership is as driven as the product, and every day, they’re tackling new challenges to improve the healthcare industry for both clinicians and patients. The future of clinical reasoning is here, and Suki is leading the charge.
I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to help tell Suki’s story and I am excited and ready for this next chapter in my career. Oh, and we’re hiring — so keep an eye out for more! A big thank you to Daversa Partners, Fiona Walley, Ava Talbott for helping me connect the dots and Kim Milosevich for all the priceless advisement.
Thrilled to introduce three new executives to our leadership team: Demetra Airaudi, Senior Vice President of Marketing; Aden Fine, General Counsel; and Jonathan "Jojo" A., Vice President of Infrastructure. They join our Suki family at a pivotal moment of growth and expansion. Welcome to the team!

In the vast tapestry of life, the concept of winning is as diverse as the people who define it. What constitutes victory is deeply personal, shaped by individual experiences, dreams, and aspirations. For some, it's about tangible achievements and recognition, while for others, it's the quiet triumphs of overcoming personal challenges or finding inner peace. Winning, in its essence, transcends conventional measures; it's about finding fulfillment in the journey towards our own unique versions of success, reminding us that true victory lies in the joy and meaning we derive from our pursuits.
"Risk, Resilience, and Determination: What We Can Learn from Michael Saylor"
Michael Saylor and MicroStrategy represent one of the boldest decisions in recent years: adopting Bitcoin as a central corporate strategy. But this vision didn’t come out of nowhere.
In his past, Saylor faced painful experiences—particularly in Argentina, where he suffered significant losses due to economic instability. These setbacks shaped his perspective and led him to believe that value can only be preserved through independent and robust strategies.
His decision to embrace Bitcoin was far from easy. Despite criticism and resistance, he remained steadfast in his vision—choosing long-term resilience over short-term gains.
The question is: Which entrepreneurs or corporations are willing to follow a similar path today?
Who dares to lead their company into profitability through future-oriented strategies—without relying on traditional credit systems—just as Saylor has done with his Bitcoin strategy?
Can this strategy still be worthwhile, even with Bitcoin’s current price?
Saylor believes so and continues to invest significant portions of his company’s capital. He demonstrates that true leadership requires the willingness to take risks, endure setbacks, and remain unwavering in one’s vision.
To all leaders, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers:
What has been your greatest challenge that shaped you?
And how has it defined your path?
Let’s continue the discussion here about resilience and the art of making bold decisions—especially in times of uncertainty, where future-oriented decisions present real challenges.
