Tesla just launched the future on wheels. At the "We, Robot" event, the Cybercab made its debut: • Completely driverless. No steering wheel, no pedals. • Promises to be 10x safer than traditional cars. • Designed to give us time back—no more focusing on the road. Imagine hailing a cab where your only job is to sit back, relax, and let the tech take over. Elon Musk spoke of the vision: more utility, less wasted time. It's not just a vehicle; it's a shift in how we think about travel. A move towards autonomy, freedom, and efficiency. Is this the end of the steering wheel era?

Thanks to Tesla and their presentation of the future #Cybercab and #Cybervan, the #businessmodels around #autonomousdriving have gained new attention. It is are undoubtedly the key #technology of the long-awaited #mobility #transformation, finally solving the antagonism between #individual mobility and #societal traffic woes. However, the presented solutions still lack technical feasibility and regulatory framework - but nonetheless, the vision of EASCY (electric, automated, connected, shared, yearly updated) mobility remains valid and deserves ongoing #investment in new #companies, technology and smart #infrastructure. BYD and Tesla are currently among the world's leading electric vehicle manufacturers. #BYD's strengths include: 1. Independent production of most components, especially self-developed power batteries; 2. High configuration; 3. Competitive pricing. #Tesla's advantages include: 1. Vehicle architecture designed to reduce production costs; 2. Very high degree of production automation, reducing production costs; 3. Entry into the market with high-end electric vehicles, gradually introducing lower-priced mass-market models, making its brand more upscale; 4. More advanced #FSD (Full Self-Driving) technology and a large accumulation of data. Personally, I believe that the future of electric vehicles will be dominated by intelligent, automatic pilot technologies. If BYD fails to improve in the field of automatic pilot, it is highly possible that it will loss its position as the top seller of electric vehicles, and its current advantages may only be temporary. What do you think? #ElectricVehicles #AutonomousDriving #SmartTechnology #ElectricVehicleMarket #EV #automotiveindustry
How BYD killed Tesla! But can they stay on top?

Tesla unveils the Optimus Robot. How's that bear case for Tesla/Musk looking now, lol? Tesla has a huge tech advantage and it will only grow, rapidly. You can't beat something with nothing. If you bash Tesla/Musk, show me the competitor with better tech or product/tech pipeline? We know SpaceX is crushing it. So is STARLINK, IMO. Think about it this way, when have you seen a traditional auto OEM ever do a multiple product announcement/demo this strong/disruptive? Correct answer IMO: never since maybe Henry Ford and that was one product, the Model T. Musk just dropped 3: 1.) #OptimusRobot 2.) #Cybercab 3.) #Robovan People made fun of the Cybertruck, until it launched, sold out and people were buying them over sticker en masse. Do you think each of these products is more or less appealing/disruptive than the Cybertruck? Time to get into reality peeps.

This is how the Tesla CyberTruck perceives its surroundings. It has a comprehensive view of everything, but are humans becoming obsolete? Will future generations even need driving lessons once these self-driving cars take over the roads? On one side, self-driving technology promises a future with fewer accidents and less road rage. Yet, on the other side, there's something special about humans behind the wheel. The ability to react instinctively and navigate unexpected situations – these are skills that AI is still mastering. So, the real question isn't necessarily about superiority, but about collaboration. The advancements in this technology are remarkable and will revolutionize transportation. However, picturing a world solely filled with self-driving cars still seems hard to grasp.
