Will AI become our biggest problem when it grows up... or will it solve our largely irrational decision making?   There is no doubt that AI has a far greater capacity to ‘learn’ than most humans and is a highly effective pattern seeker. Many of our human decisions are wrapped up in emotional biases and assumptions…one could say that AI is at an advantage here because it not a sentient being…yet?   Thinking back over 20yrs I have often considered “What really stops effective transformation?”... well very broadly I would say it is our Mindset – how people distort the current situation to align with what they want to believe.   If AI only learns by repeating the majority view, will it simply actively continue to distort the current dysfunction further?   As a systemic pattern seeker, I think. there are 3 very probably knowns: ❗ People are likely to rapidly adopt as it saves time, and they don't need to think....AI will do that for them ❗Current majority view is already distorted... this will amplify this even further ❗AI only recreates in the current predominate #strategicmindset… and this is a serious problem already…   This worrying combination could have very serious consequences.   I am very far from an AI expert…but my curiosity compels me to ask:   Do others see the concerning pattern…or you have a different view that I cannot see?   How can we ensure AI develops a healthy balanced view…even if we do not have one ourselves? We Are No Longer Working Alone—AI Is Our Amplifier POV of the Day: it's official AI has joined the workplace!!! I know most of you reading this post agree with that on some level. But what does it mean? Efficiency? Sure, that’s part of it—but let’s explore a new perspective, something you might not have considered. What Is AI? AI is a technology that mimics human cognitive abilities. It’s not just a follower; it’s a creator through observation—watching you and all of us. AI observes, learns, and evolves. It notices how we talk, what we like, how we react, and even what we overlook. This becomes its framework—its role model—for the next time it acts, whether the task is repetitive or entirely new. What Are We Missing? AI operates by repeating patterns—it creates based on what has happened before. On the other hand, we as humans are creatures of habit. We feel comfortable in patterns and past experiences. So, working with AI creates a space of boxed collaboration, surrounded by comfort and familiarity. The better AI imitates us, the more we celebrate its performance. Is That a Good or Bad Thing? There’s no right or wrong answer here. With AI, we are amplified—we can do more, faster, and with precision. But this amplification is shaped by what we’ve already done. The question is: Are you comfortable staying within those boundaries, or do you want to push beyond them? Awareness Is the Way Forward! As we say in AI Thinking, awareness is the key. The choice is yours to decide if and when change is needed. AI is a thinking revolution, and awareness is the way to go—one perspective at a time.
