"The concept of pluralism refers to a philosophical position that, in relation to significant aspects of human existence, there are no single truths or certainties. Instead, productive and sustainable ways of living are characterised by an ongoing dialogue between different perspectives. The field of pluralistic practice is concerned with the implications and challenges arising from adopting a pluralistic stance within both everyday life and professional contexts. [...] The central focus of the journal is on developing critical understanding and effective practice around the relevance and value of a pluralistic approach to counselling, psychotherapy, recovery, peer self-help, life coaching, careers guidance, and other forms of emotional support. The journal also welcomes contributions that discuss pluralistic practice in education, health and social care, faith communities, creative arts, leisure, criminal justice, socio-political activism, and any other professions, disciplines, occupations or areas of work where it might have relevance."
Delighted to see the launch of our new Pluralistic Practice journal, with a 'position paper' now available. The paper sets out the mission for the journal: do consider submitting papers though our portal https://lnkd.in/ejYw8HA4 ABSTRACT Pluralism offers a means of recognising the value of multiple voices and perspectives and has emerged as an increasingly significant guiding framework for making sense of the complexity and diversity of contemporary social life. Pluralistic Practice is an open access journal created with the intention of supporting the development of a global community of inquiry within which practitioners, communities, and citizens can share knowledge, experience, and evidence around the challenges and benefits of working pluralistically to facilitate individual and collective well-being, solidarity, and justice. The present article offers an introduction to how the journal will operate and what it hopes to achieve and extends an invitation to be part of this endeavour.

There's still time to sign up to the upcoming Green Shoots webinar! Check out the post below for more information and to register. #Rewilding #EcologicalRestoration #NatureFuturesFramework #HorizonEurope #ClimateChange #Biodiversity #Nature
How can we understand the different ways that we value nature? 🌿 Developed by IPBES, the Nature Futures Framework helps us to understand and incorporate a wide-range of perspectives towards nature when developing positive nature-people scenarios for the future. The wildE project is using this framework to develop a psychometric scale to be used in an upcoming European-wide survey on the attitudes of the general public towards rewilding. In the next webinar of our Greenshoots series, Angus Smith, a PhD researcher at Wageningen University, will discuss the development of this scale as well as more details on the upcoming European-wide survey. 👉 Sign up to find out more: https://bit.ly/3ZOhdSF
