Properly proportioned elements create a sense of cohesion, preventing any single piece from overpowering the rest. By maintaining appropriate proportions between furniture, artwork, and similar other features, one can guide the eye smoothly throughout the room, avoiding distractions or feelings of imbalance. Proportion also contributes to functionality, ensuring that furniture and decor fit within the available space while allowing for ease of movement. Ultimately, proportionate design fosters a comfortable, aesthetically pleasing environment that feels pleasant and inviting. #ProportionInDesign #BalanceIsKey #InteriorDesignTips #CohesiveSpace #FurniturePlacement #ArtPlacement #FunctionalDesign #LuxuryInteriorDesign #HighEndHomes #StatementPieces #LuxuryFurniture #SpaciousLiving #InvitingHome #PleasantAmbiance #LuxuryDetails #TimelessDesign #KKDStudio #KrishKothari

The Seven Pillars Console is of a world where furniture design meets modern, abstract art. The philosophy behind the console was to craft a poetic piece with tangible functionality, inspired from contemporary art. Crafted from rich, warm wood, the seven vertical elements - each a unique blend of discs, spheres, and hemispheres - tell their own tale of curves and creativity. This console is more than just a piece of furniture - it’s a statement, a conversation starter, a symbol of timeless design. A console that’s as dynamic as the stores it will hold. Where will your story begin? . . . ♥️ @modesignshome #modesigns #consoletable #homedecor #interiordesign #homedesign #furnituredesign #modernhome #luxuryliving #homeinspiration #sevenpillarsconsole #woodfurniture #minimalistdesign #contemporarydesign #sculpturalart #handmadewithlove #artisancrafted #interiordesigninspiration #instahomes

For the past few years, interior design trends have largely stayed the same. What about this year? The talented crew at Studio McGee predicts some bold shifts in the design world. Swipe for a few that may catch your eye this year: 1) Country club aesthetic: A style that wraps your rooms in the tranquility of whites, creams, and playful greens — just like the country club golf course. 2) Natural and luxe pairings: This trend is all about merging natural elements like plaster and stone with modern, sleek finishes like glass and straight lines. 3) Warm reds: Dusty pinks, deep burgundies, and earthy red undertones will give our homes a cozy, comfortable feel in 2024. 4) Understated opulence: Rich velvets, fluted glass, European bedding with piped borders, fringe, and marble. A blend of elegant simplicity and intricate craftsmanship. 5) Italian-inspired pieces: Ironwork, plaster ceiling medallions, marble, busts or sculptures. Don't be surprised to see touches of the Renaissance coming to a home decor store near you. 6) Statement tile and flooring: Expect to see exciting tile combinations, both on walls and floors, to make an expressive statement about your style. Color, pattern, and furniture. These are the three main design trends in 2024. Let's look at them one by one. We start with colors: sage beats emerald. In the race between greens, earthy nuances won. Tiffany blue is so popular and closer to cobalt blue "Navy". As far as patterns and fantasies are concerned, interior designers prefer the bohemian style of the Seventies to the modernism of the Sixties. And they are fascinated by maximalist impulses. The organic volumes and bold strokes of chubby design are enthusiastic. Then a decorative theme returns: limewash texture. On the furniture side, it will be the turn of evergreen design. The milestones of industrial design remain firmly in the top positions of the most sought-after household objects. Among the most desirable pieces of furniture for 2024 are the Barcelona Chairs and the 'Snake' sofa. The main lighting projects are Murano glass chandeliers and white paper abat-jours. What do you think? What will be the hottest trend this year? #Cantori #Colour #Patterns #Furniture #Design
