WHAT IS THE KLEENOIL FILTRATION PROGRAMME ? ; KLEENOIL can take the chore of lubrication condition maintenance and monitoring out of your hands on a reliable routine quarterly basis ; with thorough oil sampling reporting, filter change and system check ; for as little as £35.50p per month. Condition monitoring offers a predictive maintenance; so, if you could save one pump or one cylinder through knowledge of looming wear issues ; it would more than cover its costs ; and in tandem with ultra fine filtration to maintain the oil at levels 'as clean as new' you'll keep the machine running effectively for as little as £35.50p per month What’s included in a KLEENOIL Maintenance programme ? • Install of the appropriate KLEENOIL System. • Take a ‘start’ oil sample • Change filtration cartridges and take oil samples on a 3 monthly schedule • Check systems in this visit • Provide full reports as an easy-to-read online file for each machine with records of trends, improvements and recommendations • Alert site directly of any concerns or alarms (no labour or call-out charges in the scheduled quarterly visits and oil analysis is carried out by Finnings UK as an independent laboratory.) • Systems belong to you at the end of 24 months and then condition monitoring can continue on an agreed basis without obligation, at just the cost of replacement filter and sampling. call us 01977 682810

Are there any specific maintenance practices or procedures recommended for ensuring the oil in a Cantilever Lubrication System stays clean? There are several recommended maintenance practices and procedures to ensure that the oil in a Cantilever Lubrication System stays clean: 1. Regular Oil Analysis: Conduct regular oil analysis to monitor the condition of the oil. This helps identify any contaminants, degradation, or excessive wear particles in the oil. Based on the analysis results, appropriate actions can be taken, such as filtration or oil replacement, to maintain cleanliness. 2. Filtration Systems: Install effective filtration systems in the lubrication system to remove particles and impurities from the oil. This can include the use of filters, magnetic separators, or centrifuges. Regularly inspect and clean or replace filters as per the manufacturer's recommendations. 3. Proper Filter Maintenance: Ensure that filters are properly maintained. This includes regular cleaning or replacement as recommended by the manufacturer. Properly disposing of used filters is also important to prevent contamination. 4. Prevent Contamination during Handling: Exercise caution during oil handling to prevent contamination. Use clean storage containers, funnel, and equipment while adding or changing oil. Ensure that all fittings are clean and free from debris before connecting them to the lubrication system. 5. Regular Equipment Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the lubrication system components, such as reservoirs, pumps, valves, and lines, to ensure they are free from leaks, corrosion, or blockages that could introduce contaminants into the oil. 6. Follow Manufacturer's Recommendations: Adhere to the manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations for lubrication system maintenance, including oil selection, and filter replacement schedules. These guidelines are specific to the system and equipment and can help maintain the cleanliness of the oil. By following these maintenance practices and procedures, you can ensure that the oil in a Cantilever Lubrication System remains clean and provides optimal lubrication for the equipment. A filter cart is a versatile tool primarily for filtering and cleaning lubricants. While kidney loop filtration is the most common application, here are five additional uses for a filter cart: 1. Oil Transfer and Recycling: Filter carts can transfer oil from one container or system to another while simultaneously filtering it, making them convenient tools for oil recycling or purifying oil being moved. 2. Reservoir Draining and Filling: They can assist in efficiently draining and refilling larger oil reservoirs. This is useful for maintenance tasks where old oil must be replaced with new, clean oil. It ensures that contaminants do not enter the system and can help speed up the process. 3. System Flushing and Cleaning: Filter carts can flush hydraulic or lubrication systems. Circulating oil through the system helps remove contaminants, sludge, and varnish, keeping the equipment running smoothly and efficiently. This can be particularly useful in cleaning hydraulic hoses before installation in the system. 4. Inline Filtration: They can serve as temporary inline filters in hydraulic or lubricating systems. They provide additional particle and water removal capacity when the existing system filters need support, or increased cleanliness levels are required during critical operations. 5. Oil Condition Testing: Filter carts with monitoring devices can test the oil's condition by checking for particulate contaminants, water content, and other issues dependent on the monitoring devices installed. This helps in predictive maintenance and oil analysis, ensuring the system operates effectively and that maintenance is scheduled proactively. These applications demonstrate the filter cart's flexibility in maintaining oil cleanliness and system efficiency and prolonging equipment life in various settings. Filter carts should always be hooked up to some equipment and in use. I often see them idle in a corner of the lube room or on the plant floor.

THE ROAD TO MAXIMIZING OIL CLEANLINESS Think how much better your operation will work with a lubrication system like this. OilSafe's heavy duty bulk storage system enables you to clean up and organize your lube room. Shift-in pre-assembled modules with integrated pallets for fast and easy installation. The system provides value right out-of-the-box. High quality auto shut off tabs, integrated spill containment and removable stainless steel drip trays prevent hazardous spills. The rugged steel frame is welded and powder-coated to provide maximum durability and the modular design delivers maximum flexibility. You can select different tank sizes in 10 colours to meet your lubricant volume and identification needs. Each tank has its own pump, filter and suction wand to eliminate cross contamination and continuous in-line filtration promotes fluid cleanliness every time you move a lubricant. In fact the whole process starts with identifying the current state of the lubricants selection and application to the equipment. Together with our customer we go into the plant. Survey the existing processes for identifying the lubricants handling, the lubricants ensuring that the lubricant inventory is being turned over and then also understanding that we have to ensure that the right product gets into the right application, as there are many different oils for example that could be used in one plant. So that process begins with identifying those oils to the asset and creating a matrix that can be identified and followed utilizing either color coding or symbol coding to identify the particular product and the particular assets that that product should be applied to. The next step to a good best practices lubrication program is to clean the products before they're actually applied into the assets. That begins through the OilSafe Bulk system. The system is composed of a multiple number of tanks, colour-coded, symbol coded to identify the different lubricants in use. The product is brought in in your typical 55 gallon refinery drum. The drum is evacuated utilizing dedicated service hoses. Again colour-coded by product to ensure minimal or zero cross contamination. As the product is evacuated from the drum into our holding tank, the product is filtered. Then while in storage in the tank as it's waiting to be consumed, the system can be energized to create a kidney loop filtration. Further cleaning than the product while it's in storage. Finally we're going to dispense the product into a transfer container that's going to be taken into the field and used to top off or refill the asset component. Again on the process of dispensing the product, the product is once more filtered. So that's a three way filtration - maximizing the oil cleanliness. https://lnkd.in/eagEg3sA #oilsafe #OilCleanliness #BulkStorageSystem
