During our recent trip, we had the opportunity to see how farmers can use Internet of Things (IoT) devices to monitor water quality, adjust aeration, and control feeding, farmers can monitor multiple farm systems and react in real time. The potential is immense, and combined with state-of-the-art nutrition, like our flagship product JUV™ in tandem with technological solutions, shrimp farms can maximize their #productivity while ensuring more efficient use of resources, increasing profits, and helping to reduce waste. Together, tech and nutrition tools are paving the way for a more efficient, sustainable, and profitable shrimp aquaculture industry in Vietnam. 🌍 Innovating 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 in Freshwater 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 🌊 In 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱'𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗸 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻, giant freshwater prawn farming faces significant challenges: inconsistent prawn sizes, waterborne diseases, and deteriorating pond environments. A study by Panyapong Songpayome et al. introduces a 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 to address these issues by monitoring critical factors like 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘅𝘆𝗴𝗲𝗻, 𝗽𝗛, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. The system, integrating IoT technology and automated controls, significantly boosts prawn 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 (93.3%) and ensures disease-free, market-sized prawns.
