The Met Office have put together a toolkit of climate information you can trust. There is overwhelming evidence that climate change is affecting the health of the planet and the wellbeing of billions of people around the world. However, climate misinformation is a real issue too. Certain climate topics are constantly subject to misleading claims, making it confusing for everyone and difficult to understand the messages coming from the evidence. This can ultimately lead to people feeling unsure about what actions to take, and why action is needed in the first place. To tackle this, the Met Office have developed a toolkit to provide information and clarity around topics on which misinformation is sometimes shared.
