🎉 My 2024 Work Wrapped 🎁 If I were to create my own “Work Wrapped” for 2024, it would undoubtedly include the products we shipped, the features we delivered, and the challenges we overcame as a team 🙌. These achievements are the foundation of our day-to-day efforts. But when I truly reflect on this year, it’s the moments where I stepped out of my comfort zone that stand out: 💡 Creating a start-up in 54hrs at Sync the City 🌟 Supporting Kirstie Tostevin at DevelopHER Awards 🎤 Being on a panel at the Norwich Games Festival 🛠️ Innovating at hackathon and game jam events 🎙️ Attending talks at work and at Norfolk Network 📚 Investing in my growth with Blue Heron Training 💌 Making cards for children in hospice care These activities weren’t just events - they were opportunities to grow, create lasting memories, and build meaningful relationships. They reminded me that the work we do outside our usual routine can be just as impactful, if not more 💪 Looking ahead to 2025, I want to double down on these kinds of experiences. I aim to not only excel in the day-to-day but to foster new connections, meet inspiring people, and create more opportunities to grow personally and professionally 📈. How many incredible people will I have the honour of connecting with by this time next year? I’m super grateful to work in an environment that supports and encourages these activities - thanks Artlist! I couldn’t recommend participating in these events enough. If you’ve been on the fence about getting involved in something outside your comfort zone, let this be your sign 🪧 Here’s to even bigger adventures in 2025! 🚀 I’ve already signed up for the “Become a TypeScript Wizard” workshop hosted by nor(DEV): Norfolk Developers. I’m also considering attending the next Hot Source 🌋 event on space! 🪐 What activities helped you grow this year? I’d love to hear your reflections.

🎆 Happy 4th of July! 🎆 Hey LinkedIn Fam! 🚀 As we celebrate Independence Day, I’m reflecting on the concept of independence in our tech careers. The freedom to learn, grow, and innovate is something we should cherish and celebrate every day. 🌟 Independence in Learning: One of the greatest aspects of being in tech is the ability to constantly learn new things. Whether it's diving into Kotlin, exploring Elm, or mastering a new framework, we have the freedom to direct our learning paths and grow our skills. 🌟 Independence in Problem-Solving: Our field encourages independent thinking and creativity. Every bug fixed, every feature built, and every project completed is a testament to our ability to think critically and solve problems on our own terms. 🌟 Career Freedom: Tech offers incredible career flexibility. From freelancing and remote work to exploring various domains within the industry, we have the freedom to shape our professional journeys in ways that suit our passions and lifestyles. As we enjoy the fireworks and festivities, let’s also celebrate our professional independence and the amazing opportunities in tech. How do you embrace independence in your tech journey? Share your thoughts below! ⬇️ Happy 4th of July! 🎇 #IndependenceDay #TechJourney #ContinuousLearning #Kotlin #Elm #CareerFreedom #OpenToWork #100Devs

🌟Balancing Code and Calm: A Developer's Weekend🌟 Weekends are a time to recharge and reflect, but for a dedicated software developer, they also offer a unique opportunity to blend relaxation with productivity. Amid serene surroundings, there's time to step away from the screen and enjoy a moment of peace. This pause is crucial, not just for personal well-being, but also for professional growth. It’s in these quiet moments that new ideas often spark and solutions to complex coding challenges emerge. Programming is more than a job—it's a passion. Weekends provide the perfect backdrop to dive into personal projects, explore new programming languages, or catch up on the latest trends in AI and machine learning. Continuous learning is a key component of growth in the tech industry, and dedicating time to it, even on weekends, is essential. Balancing professional commitments with personal time is crucial. The work is both challenging and rewarding. But it's the moments of calm, like this one, that keep the creativity and innovation flowing. Enjoying a beautiful day, reflecting on the week's accomplishments, and gearing up for new challenges ahead. Wishing everyone a productive and restful weekend. 🌞 📸Photography Credits 🌟 : Danish Tanveer 💡Inspired By: Asad Riaz #WeekendReflection #SoftwareDevelopment #CodingLife #ContinuousLearning #aftabalisahar #sundayvibes
