Cancer has impacted each of us, whether through a loved one, family member, or friend. Having witnessed it firsthand, I understand the immense struggle involved in fighting it head-on—it's far from easy. In the UK, research shows that "1 in 2 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime"—that’s half the population. Shockingly, "every two minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer." Having seen the devastating effects of this disease, I’ve decided to take action. Throughout October, I’ll be completing 100 skips a day to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. The goal is to support groundbreaking research that leads to faster detection, more effective treatments, and better prevention strategies. The biggest challenge with cancer is its uncertainty—no one knows the root cause, and treatments are often broad and uncertain. This "wait and see" approach is incredibly stressful for patients and their families. We need better answers, and that’s why I’m asking for your support.
