The fact that Article 8 and even some Article 9 “sustainable” funds invest in fossil fuels and other polluters is a function of vague and inconsistent regulation. As long as investors are provided with clear and transparent disclosure they should be free to choose. All too often, however, that is not the case. Of greater concern is the fact that many funds do not manage to their own investment guidelines and marketing. Clear greenwashing. At KnowYourFunds we have found that at least 1 in 5 funds that we process through our rules engine alerts to a breached fund rule. https://lnkd.in/eCjVH5RZ
