Hey everyone 👋, I’m excited to announce that I recently attended the #AWSMegaWorkshop organized by NxtWave. This insightful event was led by Revanth Gopi Konakanchi sir (Head of Engineering) and featured a guest lecture from Sanjay Tiwary sir (Specialist Solution Architect - AI/ML at AWS). 🌟 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 🌟: ✨ 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝: We explored cloud computing, which provides on-demand delivery of IT resources over the internet with pay-as-you-go pricing. ✨ 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: The workshop covered vital components such as application servers, file storage, DNS management, databases, and CDN (Content Delivery Network). 📚 𝐌𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲: 1) Deploying My Application: 2) Deployed a static website using Amazon S3. 3) Boosted performance with CloudFront. 4) Enhanced security with HTTPS. 5) Configured a custom domain. Sanjay Tiwary sir introduced us to some impressive AI/ML services on AWS: 🔹𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐀𝐏𝐈: Converts speech to text seamlessly. 🔹𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐏𝐈: Extracts data from documents and images. 🔹𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐤𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐏𝐈: Analyzes videos, images, and texts automatically. The AWS Educate platform demo at the end was particularly beneficial for students, offering a deep dive into cloud computing and showcasing the extensive features of the AWS ecosystem. Happy to share that I have successfully launched my first static website, and it's now live. This has been an incredible journey of learning and implementation, and I couldn’t be more proud of the outcome. Thanks to a recent webinar, where Revanth Gopi Konakanchi, Head of Enginering at NxtWave and Sanjay Tiwary, a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect in AI/ML at AWS, and shared invaluable insights, I had the opportunity to delve deep into the world of AWS and AI/ML services, leveraging several powerful tools to bring this project to life: 💻 EC2: For robust and scalable compute capacity. 📦 S3: To store and manage my site’s content securely. 🌍 CloudFront: Ensuring fast and reliable content delivery across the globe. The experience has been both challenging and rewarding. Here are a few key takeaways from the process: Hands-On Learning: There’s no substitute for actually diving in and getting your hands dirty with the technology. Scalability: AWS tools provide an incredible array of options to scale as my website grows. Community and Resources: The AWS community and documentation are invaluable resources that made this journey smoother.
