We are introducing a new section called “Methods Explained” in the July/August 2024 issue of Value & Outcomes Spotlight. In these bite-sized columns, I will provide a high-level overview of a specific method based on a conversation with experts on the topic. The aim is to provide readers with an understanding of whether and when certain methods may be applicable to their work and offer a starting point for further reading. The first Methods Explained covers Multi-level Network Meta-Regression, for which I have spoken to Jeroen Paul Jansen and David Phillippo. Personally, I think this method has great promise, also in light of the JCA in Europe. Curious to learn more? Read the article! Please let me know your thoughts, also on future topics and/or experts.
