PhD candidate in Healthy Ageing | Falls Prevention |Digital & Health Equity | AgeTech User Experience (UX) Design/Co-production

📢 Currently in the recruitment and data collection phase! I’ve been sharing strength and balance exercises through the Keep On Keep Up (KOKU) programme, co-created with and for older adults. This phase has been an eye- opener on the importance of creating digital health interventions that are accessible and truely inclusive for diverse ageing communities. If we’re serious about addressing health inequalities, older adults cannot remain invisible. Here are a few ways to start: 1) Disaggreate Age Data: instead of a broad “50+” category, break down age groups to capture diverse needs. 2) Create Age friendly tech: Design technologies with older adults in mind, ensuring usability and accessibility 3) Increase access to Refurbished Divices: more available hardware means more opportunities for connection and learning 4) Foster Tech Learning Opportunities: Offer spaces where older adults can learn and feel empowered in using new technology. Let’s continue to build more equitable and inclusive digital health solutions for all generations! #DigitalHealth #HealthEquity #HealthyAgeing #Healthyaging #Inclusion #TechForGood #AgeFriendly #Research #Datacollection #PhDcandidate
