This trend is consistent at all levels—entry, mid, and senior positions. 🏙️ Metro cities like Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai continue to lead with the highest salaries for tech roles. IT Hiring - H2 Demand Pickup: IT hires show revival signs with 10 - 12 % increase in total hiring demand for the second half of FY 25. 21%YoY increase in hiring in Indian IT services companies in August - 24. AI / ML jobs have contributed with 14% increase. Organizations are increasingly investing in technology and skilled professionals, driving the need for talent across sectors. Overall the hiring landscape is positive. The growth shall be attributed many factors including digital transformation where the ongoing shift towards digital technologies is driving demand for IT services across various industries. Interestingly Coimbatore, the western city of Tamilnadu, in the hiring surge next to Bangalore with 4% increase.

The job market in India is experiencing significant growth in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), with a 37% increase in these roles in May. White-collar hiring also grew by 6%, with non-metro cities like Surat and Raipur emerging as hiring hotspots. However, metro cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore saw a marginal decline in hiring. The demand for experienced professionals with 16+ years of experience increased by 23%, but there was a 2% dip in new job opportunities for entry-level professionals compared to the previous year.
