In the sea of good wishes and congratulations we have received on receiving the Golden Marten award (Zlatna kuna) of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (Hrvatska gospodarska komora), we would like to reflect on the one that particularly warmed our hearts. This congratulatory message comes from the Croatian Guide Dog and Mobility Association, our partner with whom we have recently started working on the "Paws of Kindness Make Problems Easier" project, at the end of which a younger user with developmental and health problems will receive an assistance dog. Such sincere thanks and cooperation comes from that invisible thread that connects us more with our hearts than with our minds, but the result of which will be very tangible, visible and measurable. In addition, news about our Bella, Loki and Pago will be coming soon. #assistancedogs #udrugapsivodici #koncardst

On Saturday, I visited Omu-Ijebu in Ogun State for the first time. To get there, I was advised to take the Ketu-Epe route instead of going through Ijebu-Ode. Upon arriving at Ketu-Epe, I had to wait for over 30 minutes to get a bike. When I finally found one, I tried to negotiate the price, but the rider zoomed off. I went back to waiting. While waiting, I realized how unwise it is to negotiate with those bikemen given the demand. As a result, I waited for another 30 minutes to get another bike. I agreed to the price of the next bikeman without negotiation as I was already tired. Just as we were about to leave, someone asked if he was heading in my direction. The rider replied that he already had another passenger. I asked why he couldn't take me alone, and he explained that it was their standard practice. For safety reasons, I asked him for the price to take me alone, he told me and I agreed to pay. It was after I agreed to that price, that he told me the person he wanted to add was his wife. Oh my goodness! I felt like slapping the guy, why the rubbish? Why can't you tell me that you want to carry someone else and allow me decide if I wanted to or not?. Now, to the reason I'm sharing this. When I was returning, I expected a similar experience. However, that wasn't the case, despite the presence of other passengers on the road. This made me understand that the previous bikeman was simply a stupeed person trying to play smart. Unfortunately, this happens every day. People often try to play smart through cheating, lies and all manner of ev il, yet these same set of people will blame those in government for the country's problems. Our society can still be a better one if you and I choose to do better. As you go about your week, please remember to be: ✅truthful ✅faithful ✅good ✅compassionate ✅kind #betruthful #towardsabettersociety #newweek

DISCLAIMER: You must read this post while listening to this song!🍌🎶 What’s Up, Everyone? 🎉 I’m writing this post while grooving to “Banana Boat” because I think it’s time to update my network on the startup side of things. So, what kinda bananas are on my boat? 😄🍌 Leaving behind my job at LeoVegas in sunny Malta to chase a crazy dream in Denmark 🇩🇰 has been…nuts! I mean, picture me navigating startup chaos, bouncing between wins and “what-am-I-doing” moments. After my first startup went through a merger and, sadly, an exit, I thought: Am I crazy? But that stubborn inner voice wouldn’t quit—so here I am, on another boat, sailing towards a new adventure with Hoopoz. About This New Boat 🚤: Hoopoz born in Lithuania 🇱🇹 is revolutionizing marketing compliance by empowering brands to seamlessly manage ads, affiliates, and video channels across social media. Our cutting-edge platform protects companies from costly fines, ad bans, and account suspensions, giving them peace of mind while boosting performance in an ever-evolving digital landscape. We have an awesome international crew on board! 🇦🇷 🇪🇸 🇬🇶 🇭🇷 🇱🇹 🇺🇸 Our team of 8 brings nothing but passion, ideas, and endless energy. Andres Valencia, Gonzalo Prelatto, Eduardo Zanotti, Goda Gricė, Benas Žitkevičius, Gasto & Ignacio. And let’s not forget our superstar advisors. 💡💪 Silvestra Cumming, Julija Eymirlioglu, Jason Wallis -- thank you guys for being with us on this journey! But okay, back to the bananas 🍌—we’re 5 months in, here are the numbers: 🚀 Month 1: • 🛠️ MVP launched (Yes, we’re that fast!) • 🤝 Partnered up with Rightlander for B2B access • ✍️ Signed our first 2 clients right out of the gate ⏩ Fast Forward 5 Months: • 💥 Full product ready and rolling! • 🤗 6 B2B clients onboarded, 2 in progress • 💸 $120K ARR - we show a strong early traction and market demand 🚀💥 • 🔗 2 reseller partnerships sealed! So, What’s Next? 🧐 You know, like in ‘Banana Boat,’ it’s all about stacking those bananas (efforts) until the morning comes! 🌅 Just like that, our team has been stacking achievements one by one—launching the MVP, signing clients, and hitting $120K ARR. ‘Daylight come, and we wanna go home’? Nah, daylight’s here, and we’re just getting started! 🚀 We’re gearing up to scale, and we’re on the lookout for investors who can match our energy and believe in what we’re building. If you get what Hoopoz is all about, let’s talk! 📈🚀 https://lnkd.in/dw2vdq44

From Grassroots To Global, How To Use Small Place Solutions for Big Challenges in #Africa . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Doing great things from a small place can be both a challenge and an opportunity as demonstrated recently by a gentle and patriotic Nigerian on the #guinessworldrecord. While it may seem like limitations exist due to resources, infrastructure, or even visibility, the potential for impact remains significant. It iis not only possible but often advantageous. By leveraging local resources, fostering collaboration, embracing innovation, and advocating for change, small places on Nigers can make significant contributions to their own development and the broader world. It's not about the size of the place, I think it's about the #determination, #creativity, and community spirit of its inhabitants. Here are my extensive explorations: 1. BUILDING NETWORK BEYOND BORDER. While physical space may be limited, the digital realm offers virtually #limitlessopportunities for #connection and #collaboration. Small place residents can leverage #onlineplatforms and networks to access resources, share knowledge, and amplify their impact on a global scale just as everyone was able to watch the 60 hours Chess game at the New York Centre. Building this strategic partnerships with organizations or individuals outside the local community can also enhance #visibility and support for initiatives originating from small places. 2. . COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND COLLABORATION In small places, community ties tend to be stronger, creating opportunities for #collaboration and collective action. Engaging with the local community can lead to the pooling of #talents, #skills, and resources to tackle common challenges or pursue shared goals. This is exactly what Tunde Onakoya is capitalising for significant change in #lagosnigeria slum Community-led initiatives therefore have the potential to catalyze significant change, even in the absence of external support. 3. CULTIVATING LEADERSHIP AND EMPOWERMENT Doing great things from a small place often requires #VisionaryLeadership and a #commitment to empowering others. Many thanks to Mr Tunde Onakoya and team. By nurturing #leadershipskills within the community and providing platforms for participation and decision-making, small places can unlock the potential of their residents to drive positive change from within. 4. CELEBRATING AND AMPLIFYING SUCCESS STORIES. Highlighting success stories and #achievements originating from small places can inspire others( individuals and NGOs) and attract attention and support from external stakeholders. This is, a very commendable effort displayed by the #transcorphotelsplc in celebrating this global champion. #hospitality By showcasing the impact of local initiatives, small places can challenge stereotypes and demonstrate their capacity for #innovation and #resilience.
Welcome home Tunde Onakoya. We are proud of you! #transcorphotelsplc

SNI = Standar Nyaman Indonesia Do you notice that there's no car perfume in Bluebird taxis? Do you notice that almost all Bluebird taxis are in near perfect condition? Do you notice that there's no music in Bluebird taxis unless you request? That's some of Bluebird's experience that we, as passengers, usually take for granted. And that's why Indonesians put Bluebird as the SNI (Indonesia's comfort standard) for their transportation needs. This service excellence doesn't apply to the blue armadas only, but also across all Bluebird products/services, including the B2B corporate service. So, please feel free to reach out for your corporate transport solution. #nyaman #bluebird #corporate #SNI
