As already written in the past, in the last year there has been a real surge in prices in #Italian #mountain #resorts. According to the #sole24ore, the factors which contribute most to increasing prices per square meter are the presence of spas and the possibility of smart working, therefore fast internet connection and not too much distance from the main Italian cities. Despite the recorded prices' variation, #Valtournenche #Cervinia remains in our opinion one of the most interesting Italian ski resorts as it is one of the few in the world to allow skiing in almost all months of the year. Furthermore, in terms of return on invested capital, buying to rent allows gross returns that are on average higher than other Italian resorts thanks to a much longer ski season.

Bicycle Infrastructure in Warsaw, Poland and Singapore: A Comparative Analysis In examining the bicycle infrastructure in Warsaw, Poland, and Singapore, it is evident that there are significant differences in the approach to accommodating cyclists and pedestrians. While countries like the Netherlands and Denmark have well-established cycling infrastructure, Warsaw and Singapore face challenges in providing safe and efficient facilities for cyclists. Warsaw, the capital city of Poland, has been making efforts to improve its bicycle infrastructure in recent years. However, there are still shortcomings that need to be addressed. The construction of a bridge across the Vistula River intended for cyclists but predominantly used by pedestrians showcases a disconnect between infrastructure planning and actual usage. One of the key issues is the lack of segregation between cyclists, skaters, scooters, and pedestrians, across the city, including along the Vistula promenade. This mixed-use environment can lead to safety concerns for all users involved. Allowing bicycles on pavements where pedestrians walk further exacerbates this issue, especially when electric scooters are also considered similar to bicycles. There is a risk of accidents occurring due to the current state of infrastructure inadequacy. The municipality is probably waiting for casualties before taking action, reflecting a typical reactive rather than proactive approach to addressing safety concerns for cyclists and pedestrians in Warsaw. Singapore faces similar challenges in providing adequate bicycle infrastructure despite being a developed city-state. The lack of dedicated cycling lanes and proper segregation of traffic between different modes of transport has led to safety issues for cyclists and pedestrians alike, including the death of few citizens and the injuring of a celebrity. There are parallels between Warsaw and Singapore in terms of waiting for incidents to occur before implementing necessary measures.
