I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. This isn’t a “name and shame” or a complaint post—just a curious observation and a call for ideas from the community. We placed two large bulk orders for the same product about four months apart. While our client is happy as long as these don’t mix on the same house, the colour variation between batches is striking. The supplier attributes this to a batching difference, but to my eye, the contrast seems significant—possibly more than what I’d expect from just a batch variation. The product in question? 👉 Richmond Natural 450 x 450 by Marshalls If anyone has lighter tiles from this batch available, I’d appreciate you reaching out! I prefer continuity and would rather use the darker ones for the next phase of work. How do you handle these situations? Is this a common issue you’ve faced, or do you see this as unusual? Let me know your thoughts! #Construction #BatchingDifferences #SupplyChain #QualityControl #OpenToIdeas
