One leave can make a huge difference.... Management and HR should understand what your team wants. - We should understand that only happy employees can make your customers happy. - We all are ultimately humans and definitely need work life balance. Studies have proved time and again that companies who maintain work life balance have lesser attrition rate rather than high growth or highly paying companies. - Allow your team to follow the concept of work hard and party hard, you will definitely get better results.

Work life balance includes work life choices! Work hard but play hard too! My strategic guidance for PM I2S coming next week will emphasize this, but true leaders at all echelons practice what they preach.

As a manager, it’s important to remember that your employees are human before anything else. Awareness, empathy, and open communication are little gestures that go a long way. The majority of the workforce want the simple things - a good work life balance, good compensation, and someone who values them as an employee AND a person.

Since before Carve Communications, Inc. was an actual revenue generating business and before COVID was a thing, I knew our company mindset had to be centered around our employees personal lives were part of the work culture vs work culture being part of their personal lives. Or more simply put, work life balance. Call it what you will but it is a vital part of any workplace culture, whether fully remote like we are now of if you're back in the office, like we used to be. Those that don't choose to give their employees the freedom to live their life while also committing themselves to work are the ones dealing with so called "quiet quitting" and/or "quiet vacationing." I recently spoke to Kelsey Vlamis of Business Insider about how we make work life balance work for us! https://lnkd.in/eFv3a9AX I hope you'll take a read and if you'd like to learn about our Carve culture, reach out! #teamwork #culture #publicrelations #pr #remotework

Couldn’t agree more Michael Smith. For some, unfortunately, this is lost and they get paralyzed especially on the communication piece. Paralysis by analysis aka over thinking it. Leadership is an intrinsic quality and discipline that needs to be practiced. Not quite a use it or lose it thing but…you and others get the idea. #leadership #management #leadershipexcellence #leadershipdevelopment #leadershipmindset #leadershiplessons #people #peoplefirst #peoplematter

Peter Tan, thanks for sharing your insights. For many people, especially those in sales and marketing, maintaining a strict 8-hour work period followed by an 8-hour personal time period can be quite challenging. I believe work-life balance should be broadly defined as the ability to allocate certain portions of your time for work and other portions for personal activities. For instance, if you come home from the office and face an urgent task, you might set aside 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete the work. Afterward, the remaining time can be dedicated to personal activities. Embracing this flexible approach can help ensure that both professional responsibilities and personal well-being are adequately addressed.
The idea of work life balance exists in the mind and it depends on what each person defines and accepts as “balance”. For example, does balance means allocating 3 to 4 hours per day to do what you want to do? Or are you OK with longer work hours on weekdays, as long as you have the weekends to yourself? When you truly define it, then it is easier to work out a plan on how to achieve it.

Nearly one year later and employees no longer expectations but the sad heart breaking reality is that they are suffering and it’s impacting us. As we hear about work life balance we wonder when are organisations going to start talking about work/genocide balance because that’s real life for so many of us right now
