What does the number 70 mean to you? Some might say it’s just a few years from the average human lifespan. Others might call it the pinnacle of music history. But today, as I reflect, I realize there are only 70 days left in the year. Seventy more days until we turn the page to 2025. Incredibly, we’ll be a quarter of a century into the new millennium—25 years since the Y2K scare. And now, we stand in the age of Y-AI. The stock market has soared from $11,750.28 to $43,275.91. So while it’s tempting to look back, I want to encourage you to take a moment and look forward. Who do you want to be when this year comes to a close? What impact will you have made on the world? How have you used your breath to breathe life into others? I’m striving to be a better husband to Alice Register, a better father to John Jr., Ashley Register, and Ron, and a more engaged uncle to Lequita Smith, Lee Smith, Brian Johnson, Aya Johnson, and all the others who hold a place in my heart. I want to deepen my impact in my community—through my church and service—and help my team at Inspired Communications International see the difference they’re making in lives across the globe. What about you? How will you use these final 70 days? If you're ready to elevate your journey, join us at johnregister.beehiiv.com and be part of the Elevate Life Community—especially if navigating or leading through high-stakes change. Go forth and inspire your world. – JR #lifebelifen #keynotespeaker #authenticrelationships #family #faith

If you want clients, friends, family, and others around you to feel honored and celebrated, you must honor and celebrate yourself. You can't celebrate from a cup that doesn't feel celebrated (or at least it's much more difficult, especially over time). This week, my goal was to land one new client, and I failed at that. But I did: * Create a year and weekly plan for social media content using my core values, how my clients feel each month, and ChatGPT. * Figured out a way to use celebration to create an ideal client avatar * Created a test to strengthen my confidence in how I help people, * Further clarified my avatar by looking at who won “Best Client of the Year.” I got work to do, but I can celebrate those steps. What can you celebrate this week?

FullCircle is in its first fundraising campaign: https://lnkd.in/eyiWvCuf Part 1 of 2 I have received a lot of questions about why I joined, what’s important to me, my vision for FullCircle’s future, and why, as a white man, I got involved and have remained committed for so long. When FullCircle began at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, our national dialogue was deteriorating dramatically. The tail end of the Trump presidency left people battered, afraid, polarized, and emotionally exhausted. Hope was scarce, and many felt there was nothing to hold onto. I was deeply concerned about our nation and, by extension, the world. The loss of civil dialogue, the emergence of “alternative facts,” and the erosion of principles upon which modern society was built saddened me. During this time, I found some meaning in working with Georgians United, a Georgia state organization aiming to adjust voting methods to better reflect the national will. Simultaneously, the Black Lives Matter movement received added national attention as a result of George Floyd’s tragic death. I leaned into remembering the names of all of the other assassinations that exposed violent systemic injustices. The more I learned and the more I stepped into others’ shoes (as best as I could) the more I realized that what happens to some of us happens to all of us. When Julia Michaels shared her discovery about Rio’s need to confront its past to move forward, and we learned of an African proverb about acknowledging the past to progress together, I realized that Full Circle represented a “tikkun olam” (heal the world) opportunity. It offered a new way for people to connect across cultural lines through various means: music, dance, food, family, heritage, DNA research, and more. As a strategist, I’ve often been frustrated by leaders’ limited views and their tendency toward making small changes instead of big ones. FullCircle presented an opportunity to create a transformative tool for communication and understanding. Over time, I recognized that the Diaspora story wasn’t just about pain and suffering, but also about celebration, progress, and building a better world. #FullCircle is building a #digital #platform for #Black #storytelling.

It's never too late to celebrate. 🎉 A few weeks ago, one of my team's consumer education and mobilization projects, "Privacy Not Included", received a Gold Anthem Award in the "Responsible Tech" category! It's so gratifying for "Privacy Not Included" to be recognized because it's beloved and wildly impactful. It's well known as a highly useful consumer buying guide. It's less known for the way it's sparked positive change in hundreds of consumer products after their product/features were revealed. Consumer education, mobilization and improving industry norms (in one project) is always my goal. Check out this award, category and The Anthem Awards work here: https://lnkd.in/ex8-aSRU

I don't usually share personal stories, but this experience has been so life-changing, I felt compelled to share. At the beginning of June, I started feeling tightness in my left leg, which I brushed off. By late June, persistent numbness in my foot turned into excruciating pain, leaving me bedridden for almost a month. An MRI revealed a 20cm herniation (nearly an inch!) in my lower back, and within a week, I had emergency back surgery. Now, almost 6 weeks post-op, I'm walking around 7.5k steps a day and feeling great. Walking has become a big part of my recovery and I will never again take mobility for granted. Here are a few things this journey has taught me: 💪 Advocate for yourself: I had to push for the help I needed, and it made all the difference. 🧠 Trust your body: Don’t let anyone dismiss your concerns—listen to your instincts. 🚫 Ignore others' perceptions: I stopped worrying about what others thought and focused on what I needed. 🤝 Community matters: Connecting with others going through similar experiences helped me a lot. It'll take time to feel "normal" again, but I'm committed to the process. On a professional note, I’m now taking on new clients for Q4 to help prepare for Black Friday. If you’re looking to boost your marketing strategy, let’s connect! Picture: This is me two days after surgery, absolutely over the moon that I could walk more than ten steps without a cane.
