Short Note: Evolution of SRELS Journal The Sarada Ranganathan Endowment for Library Science (SRELS) began publishing its journal in 1964 under the title ‘Library Science with a Slant to Documentation’, founded by Dr. S. R. Ranganathan. Title Changes: • 1988 (Vol. 25): Renamed to ‘Library Science with a Slant to Documentation and Information Studies.’ • 2000 (Vol. 37): Changed to ‘SRELS Journal of Information Management.’ • 2023 (Vol. 60): Became ‘Journal of Information and Knowledge.’ The journal reflects the field’s growth, evolving from documentation to modern information and knowledge management.

When establishing the journal, they had different views and ideals.
