A systemic review analyzed 8 articles involving 894 patients who underwent foot and ankle surgeries with synthetic bone grafts (n=497) and autologous bone graft (n=397). Similar rates of complications and radiological and clinical outcomes were observed with autologous and synthetic bone grafts.
