Kuusakoski Recycling’s Post

🔋 Introducing Lion Vision at SWEEEP Kuusakoski, Kent, UK! Batteries pose a significant fire risk in e-waste recycling, especially at our site processing 100 tons daily. Previously, our team manually sorted 18,000 battery cells daily. Now, after 12 months of research and development, a new auto-detection system is in place. "Lion Vision can analyze half a million images in 24 hours, detecting over 600 cylinder batteries per hour," explained Justin Greenaway, Commercial Manager at Sweeep Kuusakoski Ltd. Developed with The University of Manchester, Lion Vision uses advanced machine learning to identify 40 battery subtypes and hazardous objects like vapes. The system provides real-time visualization and reporting, enhancing data-driven decisions. Auto-eject capability is our next goal! 🎯 Excited about the future of e-waste recycling with Lion Vision!
