What’s the first, tiny step you could take? It sounds ridiculous, but breaking things down into micro steps sometimes works wonders. Want to run a 5k but currently do nothing? What’s the first tiny step? Start with putting your running trainers on. Even just for half an hour around the house when you should be running in them. Then, work out the next step and do that. Maybe it’s putting your running trainers on and leaving the house for half an hour? And so on. The point is that many people have grand plans, goals and objectives which are never achieved. And often, it’s because they’re never really even started them! Big goals are great, but they definitely can be daunting. Work out what your first tiny step is. And focus just on that.
