These roads are absolutely terrible!! Seriously the Worst I've ever seen. We are falling apart at the damn seams folks. Fakking potholes everywhere!! That's why Paving Companies and similar industries never go out of style. There is always a need and need breeds CASH. It's quite simple really. Align yourself and your bankroll in tried and true, tested, evergreen niches, and enjoy better returns and more security. I've got a little Paving Company for Sale in Dallas, GA. It's a 5-man operation. And with the main operators and foreman in place, it's easy to scale the crew up or down as demand calls. And that's what you have here. A tight, efficient, company that is profitable with no bad debt. This would make a great starter company for someone even though it's not a starter brand at all. You're walking into a company name that has served the local community for 20+ years with a stellar local reputation and the ability to win high-value paving contracts. OR, Plug this company into another construction, paving, and/or concrete, business, and immediately grow. Skies the limit. Last 4 years Rev: $3,461,000 Gross $700,000 Net 💰 Highly Motivated !! ! Message me if you're interested or know someone who is and we can discuss price and possible terms. I'll also write you a big referral check if you bring an interested party to the table. I went from an $1,100 dump truck… To an 8-figure contractor in 12 years. When I was 22, my wildest dream was to become the best concrete guy in Grand Forks, North Dakota. I knew I needed some wheels. So I went to an auction and got this truck for $1,100. Then, I focused on doing 1 concrete deal. Then another. And another. A few months later, I bought a second truck. Instead of doing just 1 concrete deal, this let us do 2 jobs at once. And that demand let to hiring a small crew… Which led to more demand… Which led to more equipment… Which led to a bigger crew. And after 12 years, that compound growth turned into an 8-figure annual revenue business. Just one day at time. They hired us for a $7,500 roof inspection. It turned into a $3 million contract. Here’s how: A property management firm called us last year. They wanted a routine inspection for one of their commercial properties We took the job, delivered a detailed report, and suggested improvements. A few months later, the property owner contacted us about a major expansion. Their current contractor couldn’t handle it. So, they asked us to bid on the project. We won. A $3 million full roofing system for their new facility. This brings us the best. Small jobs aren’t small opportunities. Every interaction is a chance to show your expertise. P.S. If you manage or own commercial properties and need reliable roofing solutions, DM me “roofing” to start a conversation.

Part 3 of my interview with Marlène Liontis- Finance Broker-Liberty Adviser as part of her ongoing interviews around business. Here we are discussing the importance of and some tips on the how to build Cash Reserves. Nearly every day we see a story about another construction company going into liquidation, emphasising the challenges many small businesses are facing. The impact of a builder goes well beyond the construction company itself and its customers whose new home construction has stopped. It flows through to all the subcontractors and their teams. #electricians #plumbers, #carpenters, #tilers #painters #bricklayers #concretors #plasterer #roofer #landscaper #buildinginspectors #surveyors #architects #draftsperson #Excavator #poolsupplier #waterproofer #engineers All these small businesses get impacted too. In our industry, integrity and transparency are paramount. It’s disheartening to see a local contractor consistently promising one thing and delivering another. We’ve noticed a concerning trend of prices that suggest plans to cut asphalt mix or deliver subpar thicknesses. As professionals, we all face challenges from these deceptive practices. It’s crucial that we shine a light on those who are taking shortcuts and not just fall in line. We have a responsibility to uphold the highest standards of quality and honesty in our work. It’s also our duty to educate our customers. They should be vigilant and informed, asking the right questions: Is the quoted price too good to be true? Is the contractor transparent about the materials and methods used? As industry experts, we should help them understand what to look for and expect in quality service. At Cincinnati Asphalt, we believe in delivering exactly what we promise. Our quotes reflect the true cost of quality work, without hidden shortcuts. Let’s continue to raise the bar in our industry and ensure that our customers receive the value and integrity they deserve. #IntegrityInConstruction #CincyAsphalt

October is Careers in Construction Month! Check out our conversation with CarolinaPower's Jeff Poston, Estimator: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱? It happened by chance. I started a family and felt like it would be a good opportunity. I liked the fact that it gave me the ability to travel and to meet new people. 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 – 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲, 𝗲𝘁𝗰.? There’s so many! But probably just the people and the relationships. There are many who became long-term friends. People from years ago that I still stay in touch with. It’s like a family. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴? This was by chance too. I had always enjoyed putting jobs together and seeing them from start to finish. I had arm surgery, so during the recovery I worked in the office for three months estimating because they needed help. In that time, I landed the job! I went back out for a little bit, but then came back to estimating and have been doing it ever since. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿? Almost 9 months. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿? The culture and the people. I have never worked for a company like this. Management truly cares about their people. They “walk the walk” when others just “talk to the talk.” 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸? Definitely time with family and camping. I guess you would call it glamping now that we have an RV. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂? I have an artificial leg. I lost it in a hunting accident when I was 12 years old.
