Kyndryl experts from across the organization attended a two-day internal workshop to chart the future of Kyndryl Bridge including innovative offering and technical development that will create even stronger business outcomes and enhancements for our customers. There was a lot of big news last week with HashiCorp announcing they are being acquired by IBM along with so many friends at Rubrik celebrating their IPO.
When it comes to the HashiCorp acquisition, I am excited to see how things go. I know there was a lot of concern when IBM acquired Red Hat a few years ago and while there are some detractors I would say it's been relatively successful. I am hopeful this will continue to strengthen HashiCorp's place in the cloud and IT ecosystems and we'll see more adoption of Infrastructure as Code, Secrets Management, and so many other great things that they can offer along with the broad portfolio of IBM offerings that can be combined. I am excited to see where this roadmap goes and this will further solidify HashiCorp's validation in the marketplace and with a larger global salesforce at their disposal. A big congratulations to all of my HashiCorp counterparts.
As for Rubrik, I was exposed to them very early in their growth. I still remember coming into the office one day while I was still at AHEAD and saw on social media Chris Wahl's fun announcement he was moving to Rubrik. Seeing so many amazingly skilled people go there from Phillip Johanet and John Affatati, I'm so happy for this team to finally get to the day to ring the bell on the NYSE. Here's to the continued success of Rubrik and all of the fantastic cybersecurity offerings you provide to your clients.

This is a special weekend, #AnalystANGLE, just in time for #RedHatSummit and #Ansiblefest next week, with no official discussion of this topic. I had an incredibly interesting chat with Kyndryl's Kris Lovejoy about the opportunities and risks that companies are facing due to their ageing IT infrastructure, changing regulatory landscape as well as internal organisation.
I really loved Kris's wit and humour (which I hope will transpire in the piece!), and I find that her insight in the industry are precious.
