Hey, Miss Johnson, I've heard if I don't get into my top choice major at UC, I can just transfer later. Is that true? I'm glad you brought that up, but that's a common misconception. While it's true that some students can transfer majors, it's not guaranteed, especially for highly impacted majors. At UC, admission to certain majors is fiercely competitive, so you need to start early to build your profile.
