I don’t usually post much on LinkedIn but I am so overjoyed with immense gratitude to be at this amazing company. Here is a photo dump and some highlights from Aledade's recent retreat in Chicago 🌇 Key Takeaways: 🛟 CHC’s play an important aspect in improving quality of life which gave me a new perspective on value-based care. 📋 Pinpointing the core issue in business is key. Once identified, solutions can be implemented to solve it, prevent its recurrence, and adopt proactive measures, like analyzing data and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 🌟 Inclusion is vital for fostering diverse and supportive environments. What we can all do to promote inclusion is by listening, being open-minded, challenging biases, and advocating for inclusivity. A colleague told me that during his team meetings he would make weekly goals to speak up more. We can’t create an inclusive work environment if we don’t speak up for ourselves. My personal tidbit- Every once and a while here at Aledade, Inc. I’m sparked with a feeling that I’m on the right side of healthcare. From hearing Aledade’s origin story by Farzad Mostashari, seeing the results with my own eyes on how it’s impacted independent primary care physicians, to listening to the testimonials of people who benefits from their doctors who are within our network has been really enlightening. Proud of our Roche Slovensko team, who are leading the way in advocating for better Women’s Health in Slovakia In our third year of supporting Women’s Health initiatives, we are happy to see the development of fact-based Women’s Health Index for Slovakia, which shows significant regional disparities in healthcare outcomes for women across Slovakia. More so, it offered valuable insights, for example: 📍 Cancer is the leading cause of death (50%) in women who contribute to the economy 📍 Prevention spending is 3x lower than EU average 📍 Mental Health challenges affect more women than men in Slovakia on a ratio of 3:2 Fortunately, we gained valuable lessons from the United Kingdom, through the support of the UK Embassy, where we learned about the U.K. Women’s Health Strategy and Action plan. Based on local Slovak health insights and examples of strategies from other countries, our hope is for the establishment of a Women’s Health Strategy for Slovakia. We see this as a realistic possibility if we collaborate across all relevant stakeholders (MoH, Health Insurance Companies, Medical Community, Patient groups, and Industry) to achieve this. #womenshealth #slovakia #roche
