Just a friendly reminder to my fellow lovers of the St. Patty's Day Weekend Holiday!! With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone to prioritize safety during the celebrations. While it's a time for fun and festivities, it's essential to make responsible choices to ensure that everyone enjoys the holiday safely. Here are a few friendly reminders: 1. Plan Ahead: If you're planning to celebrate, make sure you have a plan in place for getting home safely. Arrange for a designated driver, use rideshare services, or public transportation. 2. Stay Hydrated: Whether you're enjoying a pint of green beer or not, staying hydrated is crucial. Alternate alcoholic beverages with water and pace yourself throughout the day or evening. 3. Watch Out for Each Other: Keep an eye out for your friends and colleagues. If someone appears to have had too much to drink, offer assistance in getting them home safely. 4. Avoid Drinking and Driving: It's never worth the risk. If you've been drinking, please don't get behind the wheel. There are plenty of alternatives available to ensure you get home safely. Let's make sure this St. Patrick's Day is remembered for all the right reasons. Have a fantastic time celebrating, but please remember to prioritize safety above all else. Wishing you all a happy and safe St. Patrick's Day!

🎉 Christmas party season is nearly here, answer me this, do we ruin the Christmas party vibes? 🎄 As a business owner, I’ve always wondered about the perfect balance during the staff Christmas party. Do you stay all night, or make an early exit? For me, I rarely drink at our staff parties (call me boring). 🍹❌ I usually join for the meal, have one drink (non-alcoholic most of the time), and then I quietly slip away. Why? I feel like the team deserves a chance to truly relax and enjoy themselves without the owner hanging around. But here’s the thing… does this make me too reserved? Or is it the right move? 🤔 To my fellow business owners: 👉 What’s your approach to the Christmas party? Do you stay for the whole night, let your hair down, or head home early? And to any staff out there: 👉 How do you feel about having your boss or owner at the Christmas party? Do you like them staying, or would you prefer they make an early exit? #ChristmasParty #LeadershipThoughts #WorkplaceCulture

Tuesday Tips 🥂 🎉 6 Handy Tips for Hosting a Magical Christmas Party: 1️⃣ Set the Mood with Decor: Create a cosy and festive atmosphere with twinkling lights, candles, and a touch of greenery like holly or mistletoe. A themed color palette (gold, red, or winter whites) ties it all together! 2️⃣ Plan Your Playlist: Select a mix of holiday classics and upbeat tunes to keep spirits high. Bonus points for including songs your guests can sing along to! 3️⃣ Serve Crowd-Pleasing Snacks & Drinks: Offer a variety of options, including finger foods, festive cocktails (mulled wine is always my favourite), and non-alcoholic drinks for all preferences. 4️⃣ Create a Photo-Worthy Moment: Set up a small corner with props or a themed backdrop where guests can take fun photos. It’s a great way to capture memories! 📸 5️⃣ Include Fun Activities: Whether it’s a Secret Santa gift exchange, or even karaoke, adding a fun activity keeps everyone engaged. 6️⃣ End with a Thank You: Send guests home with a small token of appreciation like a mini ornament , or a scented candle to thank them for their attendance and participation. Use these tips to make your Christmas party truly unforgettable! 🎅✨ - Suzy x

🎄 ✨ Planning your annual Christmas party? Follow these golden rules to keep things fun—and safe: 1. Set clear expectations by reminding your team of appropriate behaviour at work functions. Providing training and keeping records can help reduce the risk of vicarious liability! 2. Choose the right venue: Make sure it offers responsible alcohol service, is accessible to all guests, and promotes an atmosphere conducive to appropriate behaviour. 3. Don’t forget the food! If alcohol will be served, make sure there’s plenty of food to go around. 4. Send a memo reminding your team of their responsibilities under company policies and encourage them to stay safe—both during the event and afterwards. 5. Assign sober monitors: Have at least one senior staff member (or more if possible) to keep an eye on things and intervene if necessary. 6. Plan for safe transport: Offer taxi or Uber vouchers, or arrange transportation to help everyone get home safely. By following these golden rules, you’ll help ensure an enjoyable and safe end-of-year celebration for your team—while minimising risks for your organisation! ✨🎄

A dog is for life, not just for christmas – but that saying doesn’t quite apply to us! As the festive season approaches, the whirlwind of activities can become overwhelming. Picture this: you’re knee-deep in gift wrapping, festive cooking, and entertaining the little ones, all while trying to keep your business running smoothly. As someone with a busy business, 4 children, and a fur baby, I well and truly understand! Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that the festive period is a time for joy, laughter, and creating memories, NOT stress. This is where we can help support you. Imagine soaking up the Christmas holiday festivities, free from the worries of emails piling up or appointments needing to be booked. Instead, you can feel like everything has been organised and sorted in time, so you can savor those precious moments with your family. While we can’t come over to cook your Christmas dinner (though we can help you find someone who will!), we can assist with many tasks that will ease your burden - send me a message to see how I can help!
