In recent years, with the continuous development of facility and mechanization of laying hen breeding, shellless eggs, thin-shelled eggs, sharp-preserved eggs, wrinkled-preserved eggs, double-yolk eggs, cracked eggs, broken eggs, etc. are often seen in egg collection and plating. For other abnormally deformed eggs, egg collection, transportation, plate loading and other aspects will cause the quality of the eggs to decrease. Eggshell quality has become one of the factors restricting the economic benefits of the egg and poultry industry. #poultrynutrition #eggshell #layinghens

With over 90 years of experience, it's no wonder we're one of the world's leading suppliers of collagen casings! But what is collagen? Collagen is a very common, naturally occurring long-fibrous protein. It has been used for many years as the primary raw material for various applications. These include uses in the food industry, in particular in the manufacture of sausage casings and food film. When used to make casing or film, it is usually, but not exclusively, obtained from animal skins and mainly bovine (beef) though other animals can also be used, such as pigs, sheep, poultry and fish. I just got amazing result from one of our partners who is one of the biggest poultry Key Account in Asia. After using Novela ECL in their breeder flocks each hen produces 10 Eggs extra and they managed to sell 8 chicks / per hen extra. #ROI of using Novela ECL in breeders (simple calculation): 8 chicks X (number of breeders) X price of DOC = €$¥£ depend on your currency. In addition to that there was: Around 2% less cumulative depletion. Less use of Antibiotics. #NovelaECL_bring_the_best_performance_and_reduce_health_challenges

Poultry Cartons: The Best Choice for Egg Protection Introduction Eggs are fragile, and their protection is paramount, especially during transportation and storage. This is where poultry cartons come into play. Designed specifically to safeguard eggs, these cartons offer a range of benefits that make them the top choice for egg packaging. Let’s dive into the world of poultry cartons and explore why they are essential for egg protection. The History of Egg Cartons Before the advent of modern egg cartons, people used various methods to transport and store eggs, such as wrapping them in hay or placing them in baskets. However, these methods were not foolproof and often led to breakage. The invention of the egg carton by Joseph Coyle in 1911 revolutionized egg packaging, providing a reliable solution that has since evolved to meet contemporary needs. Conclusion In conclusion, poultry cartons are the best choice for egg protection due to their durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. As the industry continues to innovate and consumer preferences evolve, poultry cartons are set to remain the top option for egg packaging. https://lnkd.in/gv4Tbpq9
